Cheers Lamahead!
Weety: If you insist, I'm painting him at the moment he's coming out a bit differently than I originally intended but I'm still pretty pleased with the result just finishing off his base.

Ok a bit of threadnomancy... I've been way to busy for the last year or so and haven't had much time for painting let alone keeping this blog up. However, I've a bit more time at the moment and have been painting a bit more and have been inspired to return to a nurgle themed army I had planned a couple of months ago. Pictures of which I'll put up soon. Meanwhile I've found a few photos on the computer I never got round to uploading so just to prove I have kept my hand in a little heres a selection of minis I did for playing a couple of Mutant and Death-ray games last year, there are more in my gallery and apologies for the blurriness:

Hi Delevarius, yeah I've got a few lootas now and a few more to be assembled when I get back to my orks. As for boyz I've got 60 choppas and only 30 shootas so maybe get another squad or two of shootas since that seems to be the way to go in this edition.

yeah 6th is very shoota-oriented,
footslogging or Battlewagon armies prefer to run shootas, with the only exception being trukk armies where you get a charge off t2 most of the time so sluggas are generally better, but that kind of an army, fun as it is, is very specific to play and depends much on if you get first turn
I would say get to 10-15 lootas for starters
The Big Gunz (Kannons) are a great way to handle both 3+ save units and deal with vehicles up to AV13 (AV14 is just too hard to deal with )
The fact that you have some Deffkoptas already is great, since they are an awesome flanking unit (when you run them in 1man squads) and are great at picking off Vehicles or if worse comes to worse, eating an Overwatch so your boyz can get in CC safely
Also I love the way you paint your Orks
keep the WAAAGH alive !

Thanks very much Delevarius, my orks are packed away at the moment but I will return to them they are just so much fun to paint.
I'm going to try my hand at some converting and sculpting with green stuff, starting of with some nurgle chaos marines because I think they will be a bit more forgiving then on tho the orks.

Still not got my camera ready but just to keep up my promised regular posts here's some photos of one of the allied walkers from the first Dust Tactics box set I had on my computer.

Any comments and criticism are very welcome but if you don't thanks for looking.

Finally got my camera working with only seconds left of power left but managed to take a couple of photos, couldn't find my old backgrounds so they are not the best. These are the beginnings of my nurgle themed chaos army. The first marine on the left was my test colour scheme which I did last year some time so I've not quite replicated it but if ever there was a marine army in which a bit of variety in colours it's Nurgle. There's also my first serious attempts at sculpting which I'm quite pleased at but as usual all I can see are the mistakes.

Thanks for looking and any comments and criticism on these would be appreciated before I make a start on the the rest of the hordes.
