Wrexasaur wrote:I remember someone saying to get this cast to sell; that may be a very bad idea. If I am not mistaken a lot of the bits you used are still considered GW design, therefore their intellectual property. I would hate to see you get in trouble for making such a total fantastic model. Getting into magazines though... that is totally golden. You got a money maker here, don't shake it too hard.

Since I have never casted anything, I wouldnt risk ruin the model even if I wanted to "make money" on this one.
I dont know about getting into magzines, I am happy with the paintjob soo far, but I would´nt rate this as a 9-10 rated modell.
But I am very glad for the feedback I heve received so far.

At this stage I would be very greatful, for any suggestions on improvents or changes... I have spent soo many hours looking at this model now, so I think I am used to its apperance now, and have a hard time to find any improvements possibilities.

Many thanks

About to eat your Avatar...

Looking great man.

No need to push it for now. If you really think the model needs more paint (which I doubt it does) wait for a while and ask people their opinion in person. Take it to your local club and I doubt they would say you needed it.

Awesome

I think this is simply the best model I have ever seen somebody take from scratch all the way to finish. I am very glad you did, it was an awesome read!

This model will easily dominate any game you put it in. Take it to a few tourneys and show it off, you deserve ample praise for this one!

After my original thoughts of dis-taste on the wings youve really turned me round with the paintjob and sculpting work

I dont know if its on or your thinking about it but a glaze of some kind on some of the pustules, or inner gore might make it look more realistic

I also remember seeing the tree-pits and I think one or two weeping wounds would be pretty cool looking . . . heat up some clear plastic and strech it to mimic dripping pus or saliva

I like the model, but is it just me thinking the wings are TOO large?

The small photos makes it look so small. But this is really a hefty piece of metal and plastic. It's absolutely gorgeous and I think it will kill the competition in the local (as in Gothenburg, Sweden) painting/modeling contest.
Great work

The scenic base will go a ways to help with the position/composition of his head being down. Without the base for context of why he was looking downward it seemed awkward, nw its like part of a mini diorama.

Nice work, I hope the DP I have in the works comes out nearly so well.

Sweet Zombie Jesus!!

You sir, are my new hero. I'm working on a Death Guard army atm, with a GW Nurgle Daemon Prince queued up, and I've been puzzling over how to do good wings for him, since I've always thought the Fantasy Dragon wings are too big, and the Zombie Dragon wings are too small.

I shall be thieving your ideas forthwith, my good sir, and attempting to pass them off as my own.

Thanks all for those kind words, as a first serios sculpting project I am very happy with the result.
I am starting to get an "urge" to do a greater nurgle demon... My wife will probably go nuts if I even mention it to her... I am currently spending the evenings in front of the TV with her, painting my Citadel Battle board.... : )....
