Lily is a little licking machine. Something I'm really looking forward to is watching the kiddo get a face-full of tongue and seeing him trying to push her off.

As a real youngster stray we found had puppies soon after. her puppies took great sport in ganing up on me and pulling me down. Unholy nose and ear nibbling always happened shortly after a good game of "bring down the human."

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner.

As of 9:16pm August 18th, 2009 I am the proud father of little Carson Lee (Barlio). 9lbs, 2oz, 22" in length.

The wife wasn't progressing so the doctor suggested a C-section. In and out fairly quick. The wife and baby are well and relatively happy.

Exhausted, but not unexpected. Hospital has wi-fi so will try to get back on later.

@Greenskin lynn: I'll PM you soon.

Always try to be thier friend. Take them out once in a while for a toy or something. When they are about ten ask if it would be alright if they could come with you to do some errands(like food-shopping) and start teaching them life lessons. teach them at fifthteen to do a tax-return because all the school's gonna teach them is Shakespeare which is gonna be useless. When they ask if they could go out on a date ask them nicely if you could meet them and don't freak out. Don't be openly invasive. For example don't ask "What are your intentions toward my daughter?" Ask how they do in school, ask what are their interests.Never be forceful never, for the sweet love of god, never yell at them. If your always calm and nice you will never have to worry about them geting mixed up with the wrong crowd

Grats Barlio! Make sure you keep him learning. Try teaching him to read early, it'll really help his progress once he gets to school, or so my mother says (I was reading at age four, and it did a lot for me).

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made.

Thanks guys. Been a great experience so far. He is just pure win. Seriously, I can just look at him and be in love. When he gets really mad I put the pacifier in his mouth and he just starts sucking away on it and puts his fists up to his ears. I ask if he's denying the truth.

Since he's sleeping a lot and I'm off work I've managed to paint my Orlock Necromunda gang and finish up my Goliaths. Another week of this and I could probably catch up on my painting.

Being a father is just one of those things you have to experience yourself to understand.
