As for the game: 1st person off of the warcaster. You can take your battlegroup in the game online and fight it out against people.

Bloody Hell - a Jack that is almost in proportion. I did say early in the thread:

"Maybe they tried to first but the computer rejected the jacks and models because they defied the laws of physics and refused to waste processor space on ... {continues usually diatribe about poor PP models whilst trying to work in amusing aside about how even machines show no love for PP but has drank too many beers to get his faculties working properly}"

That computer model does exude a degree of menace and violence. I like it.

2014 will be the year of zero GW purchases. Kneadite instead of GS, no paints or models. 2014 will be the year I finally make the move to military models and away from miniature games.

It's true guys, I distinctly remember Privateer Press staff making various statements bashing plastic and bashing the idea of a video game.

But frankly, I'm not getting all indignant over it. Instead, even way back when these statements were made (around 2003-2004 when PP was starting up) I thought they were being stupid for not leaving themselves open to changes in the market like metal prices, and the desires of their fanbase for a game.

I doubt it was printed in a magazine, it's probably a sentiment that was expressed by staff on their forum, which could be difficult to look up if it's years old.

I know one thing though, the fanbase sure as hell isn't friendly to the idea (well, to plastic models anyway, don't know about the game). You get the occasional fanboys posting, but when I last browsed their forum I saw a lot of pissed off people posting in the thread when they announced their first plastic kit. Hell, even when Monsterpocalypse came out there were people freaking out, thinking PP was going to make Warmachine/Hordes a pre-painted CMG as well.
