...I, personally, did just play a game against IG and used some individually fitted nobz and a waaaghboss (roughly 250pts) to mop up 500 pts of his forces. Wound allocation abuse on T4 2-wound models is a mighty thing. 
What do you mean? Because IIRC, with multi wound models you have to kill the wounded ones first with shooting. Or am I missing the point?

Multi wound models ALL WITH DIFFERENT WARGEAR allow you to fudge the wound allocations, as you roll the saves per "group" of like equipped models and the wounds only go to that group. So if 3 Nobz all with different wargear suffer 5 wounds, you allocate 2 to one, 2 to another and 1 to one, roll the first two, fail 1, roll the next 2, fail two, roll the last one, and fail it. You just failed 4 wounds but only lost one model instead of 2.
