I look at the U.S. and think 'I guess it's not bad at all really', but then I see someone like you shooting their mouth off about someone who disagrees with you and I fall back into my yank-hating loop. When you resort to such low methods, you show that you are not fit to be a moderator.

I had a long speech written up describing in pretty horrific detail what I think of you and the other pricks on this forum, but it seemed a bit too angry to me. All I can say is feth you and all the cynical/triggerhappy/racist/selfish/bloodthirsty arseholes here. Dakka, I bid you good fething day and an early merry fething Christmas, as I very much doubt I'll be here for more than... oh, let's see, let's say two minutes? Less? Mind you, if you look at it that way, it seems like she might have given herself over to him and is just trying to get some money out of it. Then again, that's not the sort of thing most 13-year-olds would try.

Pleading guilty doesn't mean you are. Have you considered that he may be doing this to try and lessen the amount of flak being directed at him? Think about it... a thirty-year-old case, with the charges originally pressed by a girl who may or may not have been drugged or drunk, and who may or may not be in it for money.

Look at it that way, and I can see how people could feel sorry for him.

Barbaric torture and execution won't solve this. Honestly, I'm sure he regrets it enough now, and he's been persecuted for thirty years as well as paying a lot of money to get out of it, so just calm down. Chances are he's going to be remembered as a rapist, so don't you think he's suffering enough?

Actually I'd be ok with life in prison if:
1. Life meant life. There was no way you'd ever get out again.
2. General prison population. Of course that would obviate #1 above being an issue.
