OK, lets give you the benefit of the doubt. You're not an American. You may not understand.
Inaeriga! you don't mess with a man's mom and you don't mess with his ride. These things will get you kilt, skinned, and kicked out of the manclub. Not necessarily in that order.

Maybe I shoot him once and then back over him on my way to the police station to get help?
Yeah, that works. I can claim I didn't see him in the dark and accidentally ran over him.

Thank God for dome lights. Although ninja kitty has a good way of hiding in the back during the ride to the vet for kitty shots. Odd how it illuminates the back seat and floor but ninja kitty remains hidden until such time she decides to come out.

I would hit him with a baseball bat, but not shoot him, or stab him.
Fateweaver, you say dont have a disregard for human life, but you will kill someone for breaking into your car.

To be specific, I think he's saying he would shoot them once and then run over them, after checking the car via the dome light. Automatically Appended Next Post: Lord-Loss wrote:I would hit him with a baseball bat, but not shoot him, or stab him.

So you'd still kill him, you'd just take more time to do it. I understand. Some people are standoff fire for effect guys, and some are trench fighters.
This works well. JD21290 and JP400 can cover from the roof. Fateweaver and I will be point shooters* and you can handle cc work. gentlmen, we have an anti Zombie militia!

Okies.
First, I will shoot to incapacitate the fool. Second, who's to say if I confront him with a bat or a spork or a rolling pin he won't go all David Carradine and go all martial artist on my ass thereby disarming me and hurting me or worst.
As Frazz said people breaking into your home or car or garage or whatnot are most likely hopped up on something, feeling invincible or just not giving a feth at that moment.
Having the choice between confronting them with a gun that is a threat even from 30 feet or having to get up in their face and discuss the philosophical logic and reasoning that led him to a life of crime while holding a bat in case he doesn't heed my "get the feth away from my car" exclamation is, for me, a very easy choice to make. I take A for $200 Alex.
I'd fire a warning shot and if he is stupid enough to keep on trying to force his way into a classic American muscle car AFTER having been warned then yeah. Game over Man, game over!!! Don't get too drunk. I'll need cover fire for when I have to reload and change out barrels.

Ever tried? Apparently not or you'd realize how false that statement is.
If I hit you in the temple or back of the head where the spinal column meets the brain stem you won't get up, ever.

So inflicting pain on the guy with a bat is different from a shot from a gun how?
Both still hurt like a sum bitch but I put myself at far less risk than you do.
What's more important? Keeping yourself safe or ensuring some slime ball stays relatively safe at the expense of your own personal safety.

Still, nobody is going to steal my ride and get away with it, not a classic like I own.
