Bear in mind, also, that a straight cost comparison doesn’t really tell the tale with items, either. For example, the difference between a 25pt arcane item and a 30pt arcane item is extreme, because one allows your wizard to still hold a scroll and the other does not. A warpstone token being ANY cheaper than a powerstone opens up more item combinations for the bearer, which is an advantage.

GW is usually pretty prompt with getting out an errata when versions of a book in different languages are in conflict, IIRC. So hopefully they’ll get out a quickie FAQ/errata pretty soon. Be sure to email your general questions about the book to them, to reinforce the need!

I would just like to point out how insane the warpstones token would be on Thanquol if they were indeed re-useable.

You see, you get extra tokens per spell.

Thanquol makes 2+D6. Average say 5-6?

So that's 5-6 extra power dice per spell...and he has five spells. That's like 25-30 extra power dice per phase!

And he can re-roll ones!

He hasn't even touched the four he gets or the pool dice yet!

zoned where does it say you can reuse the warpstone during the same phase or during a different spell.

to everyone else i do understand the non-one use only thing.

but that meens at max during a magic phase he can use about 13 dice or somthing. (being bad at math right now.)

Unless I'm mistaken, it's right in the description of the item.

"Before casting a spell announce which model is eating Warpstone Tokens. For each token consumed..."

So you use Warpstone tokens per spell, and they are not one use only (by RAW, IMHO.)

But the definition of consume is to use up .

To toss my two cents in. Pigion Bombs, explode and they can be used and reused, ie not one use only. Now explode and consume both would lead one to believe by their definitions that the item is used up, but that isn't the case. Now if an exploding pigion can be reused why can't tokens? I'm not saying that is what GW meant, I admit it could easily be a typo, but without GW saying it is one why should any skaven player be forced to play it as a typo when their is no evidence to support it?
