Wait a minute. Canada feels like the US media portrays them in a negative light? Get real.
I'm from Mississippi. For those of you not inclined that is very much in the US... and we are portrayed in the worst possible light there is.
I've been all over this country and the world, and people are just people. There are some differences, but all in all, people are just people. But stereotypes exist for everybody, usually based on something vaguely realistic, but more often then not based on something as silly as a commercial or cartoon or one person you met.
As far as Canada is concerned. Good for you. You have to deal with all that snow, and pay more for pretty much everything, and then on top of everything else you have to deal with the US, who's like the attention seeking teenager of the world... Good for you.

When did it turn this way... why is it so hard to just congratulate others?
Why insult their accomplishments? Why care about borders and countries when every athletes are just doing their best?
