If we're talking about every single product known to man, then I've used Vajello paints (or however you spell that) and have several Sabol cases.

I buy GW figures and kits but all my hobby supplies are non-GW. I just don't feel like paying the GW markup on glue and putty when the exact same product is available elsewhere for much less money.

I like the GW greenstuff for small detail work, as the proportions of each component make it easy to just cut a piece off the ribbon and go...it gives a nice consistency. Equal amounts of Kneadatite are stickier and harder to work into fine detail without letting it cure a little first, but it's sooo much cheaper than GW's ($12/20g or $16/100g....hmmm, I wonder which is the better deal?).

My GS comes in 36" lengths for $22 (as opposed to GW's 12" for $15).

I keep it in the freezer, pre-cut into 4" lengths (I rarely need more at one time).

It's also available direct from Polymeric Systems Inc (the manufacturer who GW get it from).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).

I'd be interested in hearing more about this....

I mostly use GW products for the sake of convenience and consistency; I used to use non-GW flush cutters and x-acto knife but in the end I found the Citadel stuff to be quite nice. As for non-GW stuff I have an Iwata airbrush(HIGHLY recommended!), a big jar of cheap PVA glue, and a pallet made from a CD hastily primed in white. I also have some cheap brushes for applying PVA glue to bases and the like.

Brushes mainly, GW ones aren't bad, they're just not the best, not by a long shot. Just tried some of the Tamiya top end ones, much better quality and can get em locally a bit cheaper than the GW ones. Also have one or two Pro-Arte and Revell brushes. The revell ones are great, if like me holding the tiny thin brushes can sometimes get painful, the revell ones have much larger... handles?

Don't use any of the GW glue, it is, frankly, crap. They only sell the thin super glue which takes about 20 minutes to set and you have to hold it long enough that you don't realise your models stuck to your finger... again. Also use a Humbrol Liquid Poly, brushes on, no mess. Had it for 4 years and still got tons left.

Paint wise, there isn't a great selection locally, Humbrol and Revell acrylics are out there, I've got a few Revell ones and they're about £1 cheaper and 6ml bigger. Not a great colour selection outside of grey or khaki. But that extra 6ml goes into mixing.

Tools; I've got a GW pin drill, knife and thats it, only because I was at GW when I snapped my last blade and also needed to pin some arms. Got a pack of 10 files for £3, some grey putty off the intarwebz, I forget the brand and a home-made tupperware wet palette.

wouldn't be Revell Contacta by any chance would it? that's what i use as it's dirt cheap from a hobby store nearby, from the description it sounds like it.

Yes, actually, it is. I also use it because, when applied thinly, it leaves a watery effect.

I'm pretty sure that is just for metal models, as Tarzan's Grip might be a little strong for plastic models.

Then of course there's the good old standard Testor's plastic glue. GW's always seems to take forever to set.
