During his campaign, he decided AGAINST coming to Michigan because he had better states with more votes to visit. The prick never came here. Im still not sure if I like him. Part of me wants too when I see him joke with his wife on tv. But the rest of me just sees a lying politician. And I hate politicians.

It is my opinion that at least he tried. He didn't get the bill he wanted through, but he had to make concessions just to get anything through (like having to kiss butt to the abortion DEMs, which I thought was worth it to get it passed at all). Our Ohio congressman said "it's good to get it out there in the first place, and then get it amended as we go along" or something along those lines, and in that, Obama made a giant leap. I really don't believe that part about "we'll HAVE to have it" will be reinforced, in fact probably eventually be amended out before the deadline for that takes effect.
(as a former homeless person) I know for a fact that they can't fine you if you don't have any money. Poor people who live paycheck to paycheck will probably, eventually, be given some 2nd-class-citizen version of it anyways.
Think about it, we all pay taxes that buy tanks, even if we don't want a war. Nobody likes that either? I would rather pay extra taxes for that McD's eating beer drinkin smokin guy to get better than pay taxes for a bomb or a gun that's just meant for killing.
Now that I've occupied my soapbox for an overly long moment, I want to say that, despite his having to make concessions due to political pressure, a discussion about Obama is not just a discussion about Health Care reform. I think his 'speaking too much' (from someone's post earlier), has done wonders for our foreign policy, and greatly improved the level of respect and communication from foreign leaders, who saw Bush as kind of a big angry slowed kid on the playground whom they just hoped wouldn't pay attention to them next. Its refreshing to have a rational person in charge, even he has a mess to clean up.
As far as the mess goes, I think he gets a bad rap from racists, fundamentalists, paranoid misinformed old people, staunch repubs who just wont like him no matter what he does, and rich greedy people who think "I've got mine, the government is trying to take it from me!"... all of these such fine examples of the way we want to be as a culture, right? (sarcasm drips)
Nobody who criticizes the man about our economic mess seems to remember that Bush put us there, left the mess he made on the kitchen floor right before clocking out, so the guy on the next shift came in having to deal with all the crap his predecessor spilled in the kitchen. Sometimes I wonder if the republicans planned it that way (maybe that's why they put McCain/Palin up? because they knew it would be ridiculous - that way when Obama fails to fix ALL of Bush's mess in 2 years, the repubs can say 'SEE WE TOLD YOU SO' and retake congress. Just my personal conspiracy theory. I personally believe repubs get most of their votes by playing up to ignorant misguided stupid people. (yeah he's from Kenya... he's going to euthenize grandma... he'll kill your small business... whatever... for instance... NO HE FETHING ISN'T, but who cares if its the truth if dumbasses will vote for you who are opposing him?)

I agree with that. Most people think its Obamas fault for everything. Its really not. But at the same time, people wanted him to fix it all a month after he got in. Problem is, not only is he going at it wrong, but its just a big ass mess to begin with.

Unemployment?
Bush didn't cause unemployment to rise. We didn't reach double digits until Obama took office. How again is that Bush's fault.
The "everybody deserves a loan" ideal was stupid and many people are paying for it dearly, although I do believe that most the blame lies on the hands of those who knowingly couldn't afford or could barely affford mortgage payments but got them anyway.
So that was Dubya's fault but greedy Americans with entitlement attitudes didn't do themselves any favors.

Get some reading comprehension skills Shuma.
I pointed out it was Bush's fault for the housing disaster.
Every speech Obama makes blames Bush for something or other. Watch youtube, watch TV, read the paper.
You tout that you are educated and informed. If you can't see the blame PresO lays on Bush for everything that is happening now or HAS happened since he took office than I have to think you are being purposely obtuse for the sake of trolling.
Obamanation is funny because to actually think about what this country is going to put up with for the next 2.75 years is scary.
Maybe someday we'll see the transparent government Obama promised but until then Obama is as transparent as a black silk scarf.

No no blood red.
Corporations are evil. Capitalism is evil. Ask the overpaid actors in Hollywood who couldn't demand $30M for a movie without capitalism. Err wait.....how the hell does that make sense? Oh wait it doesn't.
The Federal government telling us how to live our lives is good for this country. I mean, a liberal knows better than me who should or shouldn't own guns. He also knows that my life is better with health insurance so therefore I HAVE to buy health insurance because big brother knows what's best for me.
The Federal government also knows better than me that if it weren't for the 2nd Amendment mexican drug cartels wouldn't have access to guns that they have. Err wait. More leftist propaganda to get the 2nd Amendment amended to something more "world friendly" based on unfounded claims and lies.
You see Blood. Obamanation knows better than you or I do how your or I should live our lives.
Liberals hate people like me because I'm not dancing like a marionette, swaying to the symphony of "I'm fething this country over one day at a time".

Obama is Slaanesh and Tzeentch in one.
Slaanesh makes you feel hope, even if it is false hope.
Tzeentch brings about change and his power waxes and wanes with change.
Err wait. Tzeentch and Slaanesh are too cunning to be Obama in avatar form.
Hmm.
