Bland 4chan memes aside, Abaddon is already doing a better job than anyone else willing to the task could do. He's lead several Black Crusades to victory by achieving what he set out to do, including the 13th Black Crusade which was an overall Chaos victory. It isn't the goal of every Black Crusade to conquer Terra, and for good reason - it's not realistically possible given the forces Abaddon has available.

I think the 13th Black Crusade is as good as it gets. It's the most damage the Chaos forces in the EoT can cause to the Imperium with their available resources.
