My family really don't get it.

well i play Orks, my sister plays Necrons, her boyfriend plays space marines, my dad plays imperial guard. and im getting my girlfriend started with chaos daemons.

One of my younger brothers has some IG and SM models, but has yet to play an actual game. *sigh* I blame myself. If I still lived back home, the boy wouldn't have such a hard time of it...

Just myself, my Girlfriend did it once but only once and decided that it was not for her.
(Thank god thats the only thing she has say that about )

Both my bro and I are pretty hardcore into it

Myself, and my two uncles. My stepbrother also used to play.

I was the first wargamer in my family apart from my cousin (who I didn't know actually collected 40k at the time) but then my brother started (and I'm younger!) Mum and dad just aren't interested

My step-brother got me into it years ago

My long-time girlfriend makes fun of me and my "little blue men that make 'pew pew' noises"

its for the best that it be only me. If my dad got into it he would be calling the eldar queers(not arguing just saying after the 20th time it would get old), if my uncle started he would flip the board after his own incompetence cost him the first half of his army, if my sisters played they would trash talk my troopers for lack of belief in Yahweh, and if my mom played i would have to deal with an army of tyranids modded with skaven parts and built to look like a half assed steam punk abomination.

Best if me and my roomate stick with our Guardsmen brigades; and keep family out of it.

I would love to have an immediate family member (or any family member) that played the game. Howeverm they either don't really have the time and prefer free time spent doing other hobbies (mum + dad) or are just rather thick and a bit of an oaf (brother).

My sister introduced me to the hobby but since left it. Both my parents play WHQ and want to play Mordheim and LotR (building a board so we can...)

I put male siblings, cos it's only my brother regularly but my dad has dabbled in it and my girlfriend really enjoys painting just has none of her own stuff. Saying that my mum helped my paint my rohan when I was like 12 I think
