People say "The Carnifex is useless now, Trygons are much better" but, Carnifex-bashers, answer me this:

Does the Trygon have Strength 9?

Can you take 3 Trygons as a single Heavy Support choice?

Do Trygons have the option of a 12" Plasma Cannon that doesn't get hot?

And to be fair, the 4th edition points cost on a Carnifex was WAY too low-although saying that, it was kind of balanced out by Termagaunts being 9 points a model and warriors (and Carnifexes) being BS2.

But yes, I agree. Carnifexii are just generally too slow though..IMO. That's their only real problem...

The only units that I find slightly useless are gargoyles and biovores (plus those are fugly).

They´re a bit more difficult to play now but its not a bad army at all. You just have to rack your bloody brains a bit more, or....get more gaunts!
