Well funkyRatDemon, I like the Traitor(?) Guard you made. Are they converted from Tomb Kings? How about pics for when they're painted? I'll try to post my own Traitors here soon.

They were initially Loyal IG, now they are Traitor IG
Only from the Vampire Counts range. I do plan to use Tomb Kings Ushanti though for Ogryns later though
Don't have much painted now, and won't till I come back to America in a few months, Hong Kong has no 40k scene or product.

I know this is an older thread, but I'll throw it in anyway. Haven't been able to paint any of them (because of reality, but soon I should be able to). Anyway I am working on the 227th defenders of the Rojina sector. Basically Soviet Union/British Empire/Roman Empire. Eahc company will have its own role (the famous 5th armoured comoany, the Lord Commissar's personal 1st company) main idea is lots of tanks, 1 baneblade or 3, heavy arty support minuate amounts of air support, elite vets in chimeras, and shitton of basic infantry. Its going to be a long work jn progress, but 10k points is the goal.

"Enemies of the Imperium, hear me. You have come here to die. The Immortal Emperor is with us and we are invincible. His soldiers will strike you down. His war machines will crush you under their treads. His mighty guns will bring the very sky crashing down upon you. You cannot win. The Emperor has given us His greatest weapon to wield. So make yourselves ready. We are the First Kronus Regiment, and today is our Victory Day. " - Governor-Militant Lukas Alexander, Commander 1st Kronus Regiment |

Wow, so many great conversions and paint schemes and army ideas on here. Great stuff. Special recognition for the Foleran First and Iron Heads, which are absolutely stunning armies! Bravo.
Here are a few shots of my Xhorik 87th Drop Troops in their first battle report, being unceremoniously used as human meat shields by my brother's marines against my orks! Needless to say, they didn't survive long.
If you want to see the rest of the battle report, check out our blog: www.xhorikwar.blogspot.com

I love custom IG regiments and SM chapters. My main IG are the 3rd and 4th Valaraian Armored all Terrain Rangers (Bonus points if you know where that is from):
They've come a long way from their humble beginning as a squad of tau auxiliaries.

Mine is a combonation of Imperial Guard, Space Marines, Tempestus, Skitarii and Mechanicus.
the 91st Experimental are a massive legion of armored war machines and warriors under the command of the Mechanicus.
They command a vast array of highly experimental weapons, prototypes and devices that they have uncovered from across the galaxy, but primarily from the depths of the Vault back on their home planet of Schrott.
Said Vault is buried deep beneath the crust of the planet and its main doors are large enough that a pair of mighty Imperator Titans can stride through them side by side with room for an entire armored division between them. Regular expeditions are sent into the Vault to try and pry open the countless chambers within, but in the shadows lurk insane machines that kill anything they come across, but the risk is worth it.
So far, a large number of weapons have been uncovered. A humanoid Knight Titan, armed with a powerful rocket Hammer. A Quantum Singularity cannon, now mounted to a Leman Russ Demolisher chassis, A cryo dispersion weapon mounted to a heavy tank chassis and more.
There are even so far 3 behemeoths that have been unearthed within the Vault.
A massive War Zeppelin with a nigh unending supply of heavy bombs to flatten entire Hive cities by itself.
An Atomic Cannon that can wipe out armies with a single shot.
Finally an Ordinantus Majoris armed with a Sonic Disruptor and various other weapons.
There are still more discoveries to be found across the galaxy not to mention an unknown number that still sleep deep inside the Vault.
At the moment I'm in the middle of settling down in a new place before I can move my forces over and wage war where I now live. Not to mention resume building. I have an aircraft carrier toy that I want to mount giant tank tracks too and launch aircraft from into combat. Not to mention I have a small 3d printer from Christmas I'm experimenting with. So far I've built a few small Land Speeder Tempest aircraft for the Carrier with it and I'm having fun.

Wow, Engine of War, that is an amazing collection. It looks like you have an ork player's mind trapped in an Imperial player's body!

I get that a lot, that or I get a weird look and "Chaos?" or something along that line.
I looked at the Orks several times, but there wasn't enough tanks lol. Battlewagons are nice but are not proper tanks, and a Looted wagon sure as heck isn't worth it lol. I hav ebuilt a few Ork machines for friends, including a Killbursta for an Ork player built out of a Maus Super Heavy Tank.
TO be frank I didn't put a ton of effort into it and the guy I gave it to has not painted it (and that drives me up the wall to this day). But hell I got $60 out of that build.
