seemed to small so thought on division-level....

Then got stuck with other projects, so:

2 companies of Tanks (yet, but got the threadhead flu..)
1 company of mechanized infantry
1 company of super heavy tanks ( real company not this 3 vehicle nonsense )
is done.

still missing AA and artillery support. Not enough tanks and mech inf too.

A bunch of Inquisitionally requested Cadians and a soon to be air cav group of catachans are there, but these aren't custom.

looks like they are Bretonnian men at arms bodies with Cadian arms not sure about the heads. They look awesome. Loving the work people some really great original guard regiments, just need to think of a cool colour and back story for my own now

lol, yeah, SCRATCHBUILDING ogryn is unlikely to save you much GS time with ogryn

at ailaros...you should post more scenic pics with your shiny troops marching or storming into battle...
they are so cinastic and photogene, meaning they look so immensly good in pics...

the Jordanis 5th, defenders of the forgeworld Jordanis, basically cadians with darker green armor and more brown cloth, black lasguns and city camo on transports...pics will appear when i get home to take some

ailaros, i saw your ogryns in the other guard post in showcase. it looked like they weren't that big. now that i know they are i think they're fantastic

Here is mine. The first Regiment in the Brigade is the Palace Guard Regiment, which started out literally as the palace guards for a wealthy Imperial nobleman who went rogue. That's why they need to look so fashionable.

I wanted a 'grim dark' force, and Skeleton toting IG with lasguns seems to fit that well
Scythe is from the Empire Wizards kit
Currently I am planning to paint the tanks mostly green, with boltgun metal tracks, and bronzed weapons (like the army). Only thing I plan to do after that is add mud and water effect to it, since that will also be the bases of the IG when done.

Here's my 339th Armageddon Steel Legion "Iron Heads" . This is only my tourney army with display board, I have a lot more guard stuff.
