The battle for this (which, I am told, has been upped to 38k per side!) is going to be a featured Video Battle Report on the front page of BoLS. This will happen about a week or two after the actual game. I and the guys at Phoenix Games in Buford, Georgia will be sponsoring the event. There will be 76000 points on the board, all fully painted! I'll definitely post a link as soon as it's up.

Wow, love the hellhound conversion, any chance you'll tell us how you made the turret?

No Prob! I build this back in the days when the turret and bits for the hellhound were still made of Pewter. I didn't want to spend the money on a separate kit, and had an extra chimera handy, so I built the chimera, converted the turret with a bunch of little fuel tanks and a heavy flamer, filed off the lasgun mounts on the hull, and added a bunch of barrels to it. With an odd and end there, that's pretty much it.

Heavy Artillery is swarming! Colonel Cannonade rubs his hands with glee and chuckles as a Manticore assumes the position. There are rumbles in the ether, now, that a Local Hero is coming to join the company for it's deployment!
As it stands, the total is: 3520.
A little more protection is on the way...

Man, you certainly are pumping them out! Though, one complaint: all your eyes you have painted so far are pretty large and goofy looking. Better no eyes at all then big silly eyes that detract from the model.

Ahhhh. Back from the Super Bowl weekend, and the Machine is rolling without a hitch! The Tovarin 3rd Fusiliers are complete! With the Hydra taking its place on the line, ready to crawl all over those pesky fliers, Colonel Cannonade's Force is ready! However, all is not finished. The good colonel has been talking quite effectively with the Governor's command, and at his request, another local hero is coming to join the Taskforce! His reputation is known all over the world, and should he deem the mission worth his participation, he will be bringing a massive punch with him! More soon...

And he has arrived! Major Gideon Fracas, with his 60 ton box of death! He has at his command an entire company of Leman Russ Tanks, which will be arriving over the next couple of days.

Out of interest (and I don't mind if you don't want to answer) how much do you charge for painting an army like this to this standard? You can PM me if you want or you might see it as advertising your services!?

Actually, this is my full-time job. I am doing this as spec to sell on ebay, but I also have a couple commissions going. (Nowhere near this size, but there you are) I usually spend about 9-10 hours a day painting and doing biz.
And now!!!! Major Fracas has directed his first platoon onto the field!
This brings the total to: 4120 I think I'm seeing the downhill slope of this!

Commisar Cestus is beside himself! When Major Fracas arrived, ALSO looking very similar to another hero of the Imperium, the good Commisar flipped his lid. Marching up to Fracas' Russ, he demanded to know why even his SCAR was almost a perfect duplicate of the aforementioned hero!
In response, the Major made a small gesture with his hand, and the second platoon of Leman Russes trundled onto the parade field.
The platoon command tank made a slight 'miscalculation' in its drive path, and 'accidentally' bumped against the good commisar, crushing his power fist!
As the commissar made preparations to 'Find Wanting' the tank commander, the second Leman Russ, following the first, also 'accidentally' bumped into the good commissar, smashing his bolt pistol!
Needless to say, the good commissar stormed off to the munitorum to file an official report, and to replace his armament. Time will tell when the showdown will come...

Boy you had better instill some gdamn discipline in the ranks of your minions. Your allies have foreseen many failed morale saves on account of fragile egos.
That being said, I need to see the overall army

I AM a bit worried about discipline. My whole army might be paralyzed with laughter when they see the ranks of fairy coneheads prancing across the field. Just make sure you point your pointies downrange, and brightlance those titans.
To everyone else, I apologise sincerely for the distraction my minion is causing on this thread. He is simply excited about the massive amount of pwning we will be doing at the Apoc game.
Tomorrow, the final Russes...

I spy a Hydra Flak Tank. That's something you don't see often enough. I wish there were a way to make one that was easy and struck my fancy...
Sigh...
I'll have to make one the hard way. I just think the interceptor turret looks sorta silly.
