I can only recall this one, but however nowhere in the fluff is stated that Crozius have that "power". I'm no authority but I always thought that the "power field" is something that the object emits that separates/disrupts matter. The medium through which that is done can be varied because it's use is ultimately the "cut" from the field followed by the "blow" from the object that does the trick.

Although power fists seem to need to grip something, rather than punch, so I'm not even sure anymore. Understanding fictional game's mechanics was never my strong point

EDIT: I posted the image without a second look, other than that one there's only another I recall with a Chaplain:

though in retrospect none of them have crackling crozius, so I'll probably remove then later.

There is an old painting used for some ancient game art which has a crozius with a crackling looking field of lightning-like stuff around it. I'm pretty sure they aren't just big eagle-shaped clubs, so that's a pretty easy stretch to make. Some authors have space marines with power fists physically scrunching skulls, others have them rendering people's bodies to mush with the "power field" in the glove(whatever the heck a "power field" is)

well in the BA codex at least they are power weapons

But some of these details tend to be ignored in favour of the general book, and I admit I enjoyed some plot twists in Gaunt's Ghosts but other stuff from his (the Horus Heresy books describing Marines with horse-faces, because of hormonal problems) I just skip.

Goto did even less and didn't even bother to check his facts. I applaud him for his sense of humour, but any writer taking such an inconsiderate approach of a well-known and liked universe is bound to raise some eyebrows.

Horse Faced in this context doesnt mean having an actual horse head but refers to.

[hawrs-feyst] Show IPA
–adjective
having a large face with lantern jaws and large teeth.

Its just people with long elongated faces, There a re plenty of people in the outside world who are considered 'horse faced'.
