I just bought some lizard shields off of a friend, and I love seeing what you've done with yours. Makes me very enthusiastic about the project.

Thanks! the scales took 3-4 attempts with pens and brush still not completely satisfied with it but as i get better at painting ill prolly go back n fix it...i plan to use some more shields with some terminators if i get the chance or maybe a veteran squad. next on the list is the last bike and then either finishing up a tactical squad thats almost done or to work on my black dragon detachment with thier salamander chaplain leading them

Really nice work with the mixing of parts. sometimes it doesn't look right, but the termies look mint with the lizardmen Shields.

The scale cloak must of been tough, I dunno if I'd of had the patience for something like that...

Now, some of the lizardmen shields I have have arms already on them, but I planned to just saw those off. Did you run into any similar problems? It looks to me like all the lizardmen shields are designed to be left handed shields, and most Marines use the shield in the right hand. While it certainly isn't an insurmountable issue, I was wondering if you had any similar situations.

i think the powersword could use some more work... i like the "easy" scales you painted on his cape... simple but effective! the dragonheads are good but not unique... maybe you could sculpt an entire dragons head on a backpack, that would surely turn some heads
