I'm glad to hear you had a fortunate encounter with serendipity because of this thread! I am curious what picture solved your problem... Was it the googly eyes? Or my bleeding knuckle? I spend an absurd amount of time problem-solving. The project logs make it look like an uninterrupted power-session of perfectly planned building, but there is really a lot of time spent staring into space, making sketches, experimenting on scrap materials, etc.

I tend to build things constantly in my head and have been known to shout "Aha!" during dinner or at stoplights.
