Whether or not Blanks and Pariahs are even different is a contentious issue.
Pariahs are due to the introduction of a gene. Blanks are due to a naturally occurring mutation. That is reason for the distinction between the two. The difference of their effects is less easily distinguished.
Or is it the same gene? The C'tan know the origin and call them pariahs and humans do not and think its a natural mutation. If the no difference in effect then really the terms are interchangeble. There are many terms throughout the Imperium too depending on the regional culture like Untouchable.

But the fact that a Pariah will cause a more pronounced effect shows that it was an intentional gene. Blanks are just a mutation. Once again though, this is just my interpretation. You raise a good point.

Like I said it contentious and depends on who you ask but as far as I'm concerned they're all soulless abominations planted their by the C'Tan in a wacky anti-immaterium scheme.

To bring this all around, I think the overall result of a Pariah or Blank getting close to the Golden Throne, while not being positive, would not be significant.

Me neither. I would be more concerned about the Astronomicon.

I can't recall any at the moment, but with regards to the Astronomican I imagine that there are many psychic amplifiers around the Chamber. Could said amplifiers (if they exist) override (or overpower) the nulling effect?

Now that I think about The Astronomicon's personal Guard could be The Sisters of Silence. So maybe even that is not a big deal.
Unless some sort of Pariah Amplifier exists. Now we're getting into The Debigulator realm of science.

The blank/pariah thing is something that still confuses me. I gather that there are different levels of ability to confound the warp; lesser blanks go to the Sisters of Silence, while more powerful ones are taken to the Culexus temple. However, for a while it seemed like there was a difference in kind between the two types. I guess it's just the impression I got from how Abnett wrote Bequin as mostly fairly normal, and not wierding people a whole lot. It's also interesting that female untouchables are more common in the stories. Another interesting thing is that the Sisters can manipulate their null-fields through meditation, reinforcing each other to seal off large areas, or reducing their effect in the presence of respected persons. It seems that Pariahs may not be an inherent vacuum in the warp, but that their souls are in antiphase to regular psykers, canceling out their powers. A powerful enough being could simply swamp the interference, though. The Horus Heresy novels seem to answer the OP's question, or at least addresses the possibility:

From Dark Heresy:
Untouchables are individuals who have no warp signature. They are not psykers, in fact they are completely the opposite. Their presence frequently acts as a damper on psychic activity, lessening or even completely halting its effects. Untouchables, like psykers, actually have different grades of “ability”, though few savants have actually been able to study them closely due to their extreme rarity. Their strange aura makes most folk uncomfortable around them, and for this reason they are often loners, outcasts and pariahs. Of all Imperial institutions, the Inquisition makes the greatest use of Untouchables.
