You are doing an awesome job on these so far! the poses are great and your captain i can tell is going to be nuts! have you totally finished any of them so far with highlights and base to 100%? can't wait to check more progress!

Not yet, I've been trying to get them all to gaming standard, and then I'll start doing the highlights on some low level characters, practicing until I feel I am ready to knock out the Captain and Champion. The champion is looking cool, I'll get you guys a pic soon. Its the plastic Captain model, with the "face mask" head, but he's armed with a Chaos terminator's Power Mace, and of course the Combat Shield/Bolter combo.

You can't see it, but I bought some 1/4" plastic I-Beams. Tin Bitz, Dwarf Bronze highlights, with a few touches of orange... I think its going to look awesome.

Well, that's good for your painting... probably not good for other stuff, though!

I bet I logged a good 5 minutes of painting last night, and a lot of time sitting in my chair sorting through a massive bitz order.

Here is the Plasma Scout Sgt (sans legs) hanging out with his tiny posse of snipers. I know his head is sitting high. I wanted to make him taller, and his epic mullet will in fact cover up the flaw

Well, given that you're playing a chapter made of Marines who have, during their initiation, been possessed by demons and then exorcised, I think a wide-eyed and crazy bearded head fits in pretty well! The eyepatch works for me, too.
