Only minor gripe, I'm not a fan of the combi-flamer having the flamer nozzle upside down...if you follow me? Still, it does look good on the whole, but it just leaves me slightly uneasy.

Also did you magnetise your Dev Squad in the end? I'm currently in the middle of painting a magnetised Dev squad (BA), so I need to know who I'm sharing a spot in the multi-verse with.

I havent yet, but I will. And I know the combi-flamer is upside down, I figured it'd still light the vapors... but I have some hand flamers I think I can convert, back to the old drawing board.

More progress, except now I've been tinkering with scenery for the Exorcist homeworld of Banish, which in my mind will be a mineral rich feral world.

Since 6th edition added Allies, I'm now working on some IG, the Banish Planetary Defense Force. Catachans with dark brown camouflage to work well with the mineral rich muddy terrain I'm working on.

Sounds funky. Curious to see how the brown camo turns out.

The odd thing about flamers is that a lot of the fluff says promethium is pyrophoric, so there really isn't much need for an ignition torch in the first place (except in low-oxygen environments I guess, but then how well would it burn anyway?)

But yeah, as far as I'm aware there's no real reason an upside down ignition torch wouldn't work, it just... looks really odd, especially the torch's feed tube sticking up in an arc like that.

By the way, if you're after more Mk.IV helmets, I'm 99% sure there's one on the black templar sprue - you should be able to snag those on ebay pretty easily.

Did you know? The Reach belongs to the Forsworn.

I love the gloop in the craters. Any chance you could divulge as to how you did it? I've been wanting to do something like that for some of my scenery but I couldn't figure out how to do it. Apart from that these are really awesome models. Hope to see more soon

There's random bits of Citadel washes between the layers, some brown, some green.

Oh jesus, weren't those ravenwing symbols on the front wheel armor an absolute pain in the ass to file off?

I'm totally gonna yoink that idea to cover the scarring in some greenstuff from ya, that's genius. Keep up the good work!

If you have a blade with a chisel tip, it's not so bad. Then I use the liquid green stuff just like it was a real bike fender with scratches. On a real bike I'd use bondo But we don't really need it to be that smooth Liquid green stuff, wait overnight, sand it down... almost like it never had the DA crap on it. Of course this isn't so easy on rounded surfaces like shoulder pads. Those Tactical Marines are going to eBay... except the Sgt, he's sweet.
