Ok...and because I (sort of) indicated that I'd give the Werewolves among you a bit of a "benefactor" here goes...But...it's not exactly a Farmer.

Old Murry climbed from the confines of his VW micro bus, broke wind and then stumbled over to a patch of bushes to urinate, his head throb from the amount of cheap wine and weed he'd indulged in the night before...but...it helped him sleep..god knew sleep didn't come easy anymore for him.
Murry walked back to the VW,stubbing his toe on a rock as he did " gak" he cursed under his breath.rummaging through the clutter inside,Murry found an old Grateful Dead t-shirt and pulled it over his skinny chest...he then found the remains of a partialy smoked joint and lit it inhaling deeply on the smoke.
" Time to check on the...offering" Murry said walking around to the other side of the VW and into a nearby field...in the center...Murry bent an examined the stake he'd sat out the night before...the rope that had been tied to it was ripped and bloody at it's end...the ...Offering..as Murry called it..was gone.
Several months earlier...Murry had seen the devil...it had to be the devil..it had come straight out of the woods...covered in hair and with eyes like burning coal and teeth and claws like knives,it had rushed at Murry...who had wet himself and screamed, falling to his knees and begging for mercy..
Murrays old dog..Bullet had charged the devil..." Poor old Bullet" Murry thought remembering how the animal had screamed when the devil had bitten into him...But..after the devil had eaten Bullet...it went away.
This had given Murry an idea...he spent the next day driving around until he located a small farm...quietly..Murry had taken a small lamb and that night before he climbed into his VW...he'd tied that lamb out in the field.
Sure as Jerry Garcia was singing in heaven...the next morning...that lamb was gone...but Murry was left alive.
Murry took this as a sign from the devil...so long as Murry left offerings...the devil would leave Murry alone...so now...each day..Murry would drive around, sell a little weed..he had plenty since he grew a whole field full, then go in search of the nights offering...sometimes a lamb or goat...maybe a pig...if he had no luck finding a farm that looked easy to take the offering from...Murry would find a dog...or a couple of cats...but every night..Murry made sure to leave his offering...and things had worked out just fine....except for the dreams...Murry often wondered when the devil might get tired of what Murry was serving...and come for Murry himself.
" Well" Murry thought " Can't worry bout that...and can't run...the devil would find me if I did" ..Murry took another toke off his joint and walked back to his VW.."Time to start another day" Murry said starting the Micro bus engine and poping a Hendrix 8-track into the dash mounted tape player...The sounds of Foxy Lady blaring from the old cheap speakers as the van pulled away.

BTW...Old Murry sets up his "offering" in a field North/West of the Suburbs just outside of the city,he parks his VW near the field to sleep as Murry is basically homeless, even though with his Herb sales Murry usually has a few hundred dollars on him at all times, but chooses to live out of his van because he "likes the freedom",Murry does keep a .12 Gauge Mossberg 500 with him...just in case any "trespasers" get around his "crops"
Murrays "crop field" is located in the top western woods of the map.

MO=modus operandi...Basically it's a term used to describe a criminal's "Useful habits/patterns"...For example Jack the Rippers MO would have been the methodical murder of prostitutes with very sharp knives.

And glad your enjoing the RP so far.

Andy looked at the weapons he had been issued by the hunters there. An AK-74 with a folding stock, Andy liked the fact that it was short and good in close quarters but he couldn't really hit anything with it because the stock was two metal rods curved at the end. The .357 on the other hand had a longer barrel, pistol whipping would be fun if he had to. It had a kick, but the force behind the bullet could probably stop a charging werewolf.

From his window he could see the floodlights bathing the field in light. Hunters were walking around the field, checking the crops and more importantly, patrolling to make sure nothing could break in.

He was wearing his favorite hat along with a black overcoat and some semi-formal pants. It was supposed to be some kind of cover, but driving around in a work truck seemed ridiculous in these clothes.

"You ready?" Kara asked from around the corner.

"Yeah, exactly how far are we going into the city?" Andy asked while tucking his pistol into a shoulder holster.

"Not too far, we're actually going to be running some supplies to one of our outposts in Empire." she said while leaning on the wall.

"Supplies?" Andy flipped his overcoat over his shoulders and buttoned the bottom two buttons so the top would be open enough to reach into.

"Mainly some fresh food and a few bullets." Kara was now cleaning the underside of ther nails with her knife, "They can't make silver bullets in the city like we can out here, too suspicious for them."

The two walked down to the garage where Danny had just finished loading the last box of ammo into the back.

"Alright you two," Danny walked back towards the kitchen, "you know where to go. Stay outta the slums and sewers, don't touch the hookers, and don't start any fights you can't finish."

The truck belched and then roared into life as it backed out of the garage. The lights from the headlights shined off of a fancy roadster in the far corner of the large garage. Andy wondered why they couldn't take the roadster instead of the truck that made him need to see a chiropractor. He watched as the lights from the farm fade in the rearview mirror as they continued down the private road.

"Despite the fact that its overrun with nasties, the city looks good at night." Kara broke the silence, "It used to look a lot better before those things showed up and ruined it."

Andy just nodded, "About 30 minutes to the city?"

"Yeah." Kara replied calmly.

Andy turned his ipod on and put the earphones in his ears. He began to bob his head to the music as the truck bounced along the road. The lights from the city were easily visible as the nightlife, innocent and evil, came out to play.

Hawthorne parked up outside the hospital, he unearthed a labcoat and stephoscope from the boot. He had been using these old props for 70 years, never once had he been questioned.

A burly security guard looked him up and down and buzzed him into the ER ward. Nigel never for a moment worried that he would be asked for ID. Steathily he slipped into the Pharmaceutical storeroom before the keypad locked door shut behind a nurse.

The fridge was fully stocked with plasma and he took 12 more of the syringes, enough for a week. He also took a few styrettes of epenephrin (OOC: 3 uses, adreline), an injection could get him out of a tight spot and temporarily awaken his dormant powers. As usual the hospital security had been easily bypassed, it would take hours before anyone noticed.

As he left the room to his horror he spotted a small biometric pad on the fridge door, it was definitely not part of the hospital security, someone else had put it there. He followed the wires to a small junction box with a blinking red light. The work of hunters for sure....

OOC: So there you go hunters, seems my character has triggered one of your Alarms.....

Both Andy and Kara's cellphones buzzed with a new text message.

"Biometric pad bypassed at Empire City Metro Hospital." the message read.

"Automatic messaging, that's cool." Andy said while deleting the text message.

"Yep, we're busy with this shipment though so we'll have to let someone else answer the bat signal this time." Kara said while also deleting the message.

@Sillyboy +Nachos. I would guess the alarm would mean you could find Hawthorne on cctv (He still shows up on camera) and get the plates of his car. So you would Know to look out for him.

BIC:……..Burning Dawn part three……..

Sky opened the cabinets doors, pulling out the box of lucky charms. James pulled a disgusted face. “I’m not going to eat that garbage. Don’t you have some bacon and a eggs?” Sky threw the lucky charms on the breakfast table. “Don’t know, can you cook?” James scratched at his head. “That’s what I thought. If you don’t do it yourself, then you’re just gonna eat cereals.” James muttered in himself. “Girls……have to…..food.” Sky ignored his ramblings, sometimes it was like living with a seven year old. “I’m going to collect the weapons and stuff.” James ignored her as he abruptly pulled the cereal box towards him. Sky rolled her eyes around and went back to the basement. She grabbed a black sport bag from beneath the workbench. She pulled the altered sawed off shotgun from the table. She gloated when she thought how many monsters would fall before it. She carefully placed it in the bag together with a automated rifle for James. She threw in enough silver ammo to feed a small family for a year. She pulled two standard police pistols from the bench. If you’re going to investigate a crime scene. Then always look likea cop. She grabbed two holsters and attached one to her belt. The other still in her other hand, she threw the sport bag on her back and returned to the kitchen. She found James sitting behind a plate filled with burned egg. The used pan hastily thrown in the sink. “Happy?” She asked, looking at the mess . “Never been better” He pushed a big part of blackened egg in his mouth.“It’s not so bad if you add some ketchup.”

After James had finished his horrible breakfast and holstered his standard issue pistol. They went to the garage. The lights flipped on as they entered. Revealing the sleek silhouettes of Expensive Hondas, Ferrari’s…. But instead they chose for a less conspicuous Mercedes. Sky opened the side door and threw the sport bag on the back seats. She jumped on the right seat and James occupied the steering wheel. “No smoking in the car.” Sky said. James glared at her. “You’re really starting to annoy me.” “Nah, I’m too cute to hate.” She laughingly said. James rolled his eyes and threw his cigarette out the window. He pressed a button and the garage door smoothly opened. With a mighty roar the Mercedes jumped to life. They followed the path to the outer gate. The gates calmly opened. James constantly ticking with his fingers on the wheel. He hated the slow gate. He quickly increased the speed after they had left the estate. He looked at the faint shapes off skyscrapers in the distance. “Empire city here we come.”

After a hour’s drive they had found a parking place next to Memorial park. Sky opened the cars little cabinet and pulled out two leather wallets. “Here you go ,special agent Walters.” James grinned. “If halve those ID’s were real I would be a very talented guy.” Sky nodded “Too bad you’re a grumpy old hunter.” They both grinned at each other. “Lets do this.” Sky opened the door. The air seemed more chilly here then back in her estate. They walked towards the entrance, James lighting up a new Cigaret. “Those things are going to kill you, you know.” James stared to the pavement. “Yeah,….. Maybe they will.” They reached the park’s entrance, a couple police officers were holding back the press. The agents tried to persuade her to go back, but they quickly let them trough after she flashed her fake FBI badge.”Next time think before you act, officer.” The policemen nodded. “That’s step one.” She simply stated after they walked passed them. “Just don’t push it Vegas. We ‘re just here to get some information.” After a few minutes they reached the crime scene. Red puddles of dried blood still clearly visible on the gravel path. Men in white overalls were running around taking samples and pictures. Sky looked around and saw a silent man looking at the grizzly scene. His face totally blank but with a hint of great mental effort. Only a veteran had that look. She walked towards the police officer . “Good afternoon…..?” “The name’s Pinkerton.” Sky conjured up a smile, this man probably had been teased with his last name for years. Sky and James flashed their badges. “A bit young to be a special agent.” Pinkerton said. “A bit too old to bestanding in the field?” Sky quikly replied.”Touché….. But its what I do best.” “We need answers.” James interrupted. Pinkerton changed his attention towards James. “What do you want to know?” “Start with the beginning.”

"Well they found her this morning. The body was literally torn into pieces." Pinkerton scratched his chin. "There has been more murders with the same MO." "How many" Sky asked. "Around seven."
"Seems we got a serial killer." James said, while giving a meaningfull look at Sky. "Could be, but the search team found some hairs we're going to analyse." "Wonder what they're going to find." Sky gave a smaal smile towards James. Pinketon noticed the strange signals going on between the two. "But looking at the previous murders and if they are linked.... I would guess our guy lives in the market district, maybe in the sewers." "Sewers?" "Each report said that when they arrived at the scen they could smell the sewer." "Hmmm.... Sounds like something worth investigating." Sky said. James nodded. "Thank you for your time officer." "My pleasure." Sky pulled out a little card and handed to him. "If something happens no matter how strange it sounds, give me a call." Pinkerton nodded and watched them leaving.
"Something... strange?" He murmeled. What the hell did that mean. He looked at the little white card, a phone number clearly printed on it. But nothing else. He didn't even knew who she was. He was just going to ask it, when he saw they were gone. "Strange...like what?"

OOC: The information given by Pinkerton is completly correct. (Thank you Fitzz) So the killer is probably in the sewer....

Hawthorne crumpled back into the black leather upholstery of the mercedes, an empty syringe lay in the passenger seat, he looked at his watch; 9.30. He would park the car at the motel and continue on foot to the bridge. With a screech he sped out of the hospital car park.

After 15 minutes of cruising he spotted the flashing lights of an unmarked police car. He looked at his speedo: 60mph. He cursed America and their 55mph speed limit. He indicated and calmly pulled into a layby.

A figure got out of the police car. As he approached Hawthorne watched him in the Wing mirror. About five paces before the officer reached the car Nigel spotted the glint of rosary beads in the mans fist. Hawthrone added two and two together and shoved the car in gear, as he lurched away the figure drew a desert eagle pistol and fired a few shots at the escaping car.

Hawthorne ducked into the seat of the car as the rear window exploded in a shower of glass.
'bulletproof my arse!!' he exclaimed as he sped away. It seemed the hunt had begun. He needed to get out of Empire city sharpish, or at least after he had made it to the meeting.

"Serial Killer strikes again, Death Toll rises to 7"
Musing over the competition in this city, evidently the ancient enemey were here. They would have to be eradicated. Rising form the sewers in his black cloak he started to stalk the streets. On the corner stood a man with two hookers.
You got any good Stuff?
Nothing for you big man
I said, You got any good Stuff!
Maybe i d....
His head hit the floor. The hookers started to scream, for a second, just before Longinus pierced their throats.
He dragged their bodies back down to the sewers, now there were six heads on the wall.
This dealer was another of Murrys. In his pocket was a map of the city. On it was marked 'the field' and 'the vw'

The truck pulled by a small warehouse, the lights on the front were blinking erratically and made the place look like a horror movie location. The surrounding area wasn't much better than the warehouse. It was dark and some of the streetlights were out while the others cast only a dim glow on the street. Lights were on inside the warehouse however so it looked like someone was home after all.

"How many guys are in here?" Andy asked as the truck pulled around the corner of the warehouse.

"There should be four here." Kara said before slamming the breaks of the truck. Andy's seatbelt held him in place but he felt like he had whiplash.

"What the hell was that for?" he asked annoyed.

"Look at that window." Kara pointed out at the warehouse. A small blotch of red tinted the light that passed through it, "We didn't get a call from them though."

Andy pulled out his revolver as Kara pulled the truck up a little more, they were even with the window when they saw inside. Overturned racks, shelves, tables, and cots littered the floor. Several bodies lay inside, three of them wearing jackets while two others wore formal wear, it was safe to say what had happened at the site.

"I see three hunters." Andy said while Kara began to start driving again, "maybe two vamps."

"Damnit." Kara stopped the car again as the headlights showed another body lying in the middle of an alley, "There's the fourth hunter."

"Do we have to burn the building?" Andy asked while looking around through the windows.

"Yeah." Kara replied still staring at the body.

"And get that guy outta here?" Andy also looked at the body.

"Yep." her heart sounded like it was in her throat.

"Even though its an obvious trap?" Andy pulled some bottles and a can of gas from the back.

"We just have to cover it up." Kara said while Andy prepared some molotovs, "That alley looks wide enough for the truck right?"

"Seems like it." Andy pulled out a lighter.

Kara shifted the truck into gear as Andy tossed several molotovs through the window of the warehouse. The truck sped through the alley, running the body over. The tires of the truck smashed the hunter's neck and head as they passed over it. Looking back in the mirror they could see at least five things come out of the shadows, one chased after the truck for a short time before giving up. The Tahoe's tires squeeled as it came out of the alley and onto the road. The warehouse exploded into an inferno as the molotovs took full effect.

"Hopefully it looks like arson and whoever did it ran over a guy trying to escape the fire." Kara said while changing lanes.

"What now?" Andy holstered his pistol again.

"We head to the next outpost and deliver the stuff to them." Kara moved the hair from her face with a hand, "Then we change the tires, plates, and color of the truck."

Andy was already busy on his phone alerting the network of what they had found.

BIC........... the first hunt ..................

Sky and james were driving around in the market district, looking for a place to park there car. "You think we can trust that police men?" Sky tought about it. "I think so, he's not an idiot. If he gets some more pieces off the puzzle together. He will call us." James pulled up on to a small parking area. He was relieved when he found an empty space. "So we're really going to search for a wolf in the sewers." James smiled."Yep, scared? "Ofcourse not, i'll kick some ass. But at least i can hope it doesn't smell." James opened his door. "Fair enough, but we have to do it." Sky jumped out and opened the trunk. "One for you." She said handing a bullet proof vest over to James. Sky enjoyed the comforting safety of the vest. It wouldn't stop a rampaging wolf, but it wouldn't hunt either. They looked around noone was watching. "So far so good." James said while pulling the sport bag from the back seat. He just opened it whzn his cellphone beeped. "Hang on a moment...." "The hunter network?" She curiously asked. "Yes, now shuss.... I need to read. Sky didn't like it, James still hadn't introduced her to the network. He said she was one of the best he had ever seen. But still he was hesitant of her earning her place. "Vamps have attacked the city's outpost." "What? Are you sure it wasn't our wolf?" "Nope, seems theres a lot of stuff going around." James looked up at the darkening sky. He knew what to do. He started dialing the number. Sky watched James moves intensly, this could be the night she got introduced to the Hunters Network. James waited as the phone was beeping the dial-sound. "Andy, here." A thrilled voice said. "Andy its Colt, we need to talk."

Andy explained what they had found at the warehouse to Colt.

"Before we do anything Kara says we need to do some work on the truck so the cops won't be able to track us." Andy said calmly.

"Alright, so you're heading to the car parts post right?" Colt asked over the phone, he could hear Andy asking Kara where they were going.

"Yeah, we'll meet up there I guess." Andy said as the phone beeped, "One sec I just got a message."

"To Kara and Andy: Hospital Vampire spotted and tracked, have come to conclusion that he will be near Taylor Bridge at around 12:00am. Grab and bag."

"It looks like the Network wants the vamp who set off out trap alive now." Andy said over the phone to Colt.

"Oh really?" Colt was surprised.

"Yeah, just got a message saying that he'll be around Taylor Bridge at about midnight and that we're supposed to 'grab and bag'." Andy said calmly, "I didn't know you guys took hostages around here."

"Alright, we'll go ahead and meet up at the Werks Outpost before getting this guy." Colt said as he hung up the phone.

"Do you know a Colt?" Andy asked Kara.

"Yeah, he's some old guy who managed to stay in the Hunters somehow." Kara turned into the driveway of the Werks Outpost. Several people ran up to the gate to close it and began to work on the truck as soon as Kara took the keys out of the ignition.

Kara and Andy unloaded the crates of food and ammo from the back as the others worked around them. It was a larger outpost than the warehouse. There were about five hunters here and the walls surrounding the Werks themselves were lined with barbed wire, which looked normal for this part of town although the barbed wire was laced with silver.

"How long should it be?" Andy watched the crew working on the truck.

"About 15 minutes, these guys are good." Kara added while drinking a Coke.

"Where'd you get the soda?" Andy asked, thirsty.

"The fridge in the office." Kara smiled while shaking the can, "Last one though."

Some old guy.......

Oh and we seem to be getting messages from the network with assignments..... Does this mean we've got some unknown hierarchy?

I quite like the idea. As i would gues it would take a load of humans to take out a powerful vampire. Like say Blood reaper, Mordoskul or Hlaine Larkin.
