Why shouldn't people be mocked for their beliefs? I believe that the England football team are the finest in the world, despite all the evidence to the contrary. People are well within their rights to mock that belief. Not all beliefs are equally deserving of respect, and I fail to see why religion should be afforded any special treatment in this regard.
