I think he just wants a henchman that can spit acid. That would be cool imo.

This assumes that he has the implant that lets him spit acid... pretty sure you need to be a bit along with the training before they give you all the really fun upgrades. Otherwise, you'd have a bunch of meatheads trying out and then vanishing into the hinterlands by week 3 after the acid-spitting, blood-coagulating, second-heart-having, implants were put in.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

You start getting your first implants at 13-14. They'll be spitting acid in no time but they'll have a long way to go before their training is complete.

True, but the Black Carapace doesn't come in until they are graduating from Scouts to full Battle-Brothers, right? Hmm... that may vary by Chapter, actually, but the effect is the same. Different implants at different times, the acid-spitting thing and the ability to gain cultural and tactical knowledge from an enemy by eating its brain (or drinking its blood or whatever it is they do) might be, you know, a feature of the "Advanced" courses.

Also, I would think that stealing an advanced trainee serf-soldier from the Chapter would be seriously frowned upon, at least by the Chapter in question? I'd imagine they'd want him back... probably enough to lay waste to worlds in pursuit of those who have slighted the honor of the Chapter.

I mean, sure, acid-spitting is awesome but... can't you just build a servitor with a melta in its mouth?

No! Only a henchman who spit in peoples eye will do!

I don't even think I have an account there... or... I don't think I have.

I don't post on BoLS anymore, I just like Dakka's social atmosphere, to say it in a peculiar and cryptic way.

Mmmmaybe not? I don't know, my memory's about as useful as a busted sieve. Presumably it's all blurring into one. Well anyway, I recognised the name and the tendency to do this:

False statement someone made.

False.

Explanation of why it's false.

Their is also the fact that alot of the organs do not work straight away, with many either needing chemical additions in the diet or hypnotherapy to build subconscious pathways so the body can actually use them. So to steal an intiate, which involves entering a space marine chapter's fortress monestry to kidnapping him and then having to go through the process of special supplements and brain mapping seems rather pointless. An inquisitor would be able to get a few skitarii or other agumented human more easily.

its safe to say that relictors are the greatest army a man , nay human can own.
