Indeed, 20 Cards is fine; it may seem small, but it's a Model Game, too, and it's not focused on the Cards like most Card games. And we do have a Mulligan; don't draw an Energy Card, and you get to Mulligan. With the small Card Limit, it keeps it short and to the point.

No the weapon stays on your character, you only have 2 arms though, so if you play a weapon and you don't have enough arms free to hold it, you must destroy already equipped weapons until you do.
Yup, that's it, though I would like to add that you have a Back Weapon slot for things like Missle Launchers, Miniguns, and additional Support Systems.
Basic Cards:
Laser Rifle: Damage 200, Range 12, Attacks 3, Energy 1, Accuracy 4. Basic, Two Handed.
Laser Sword: Damage 500, Reach 2, Attacks 1, Energy 1, Accuracy 3. Basic, One Handed.
Autocannon: Damage 100, Range 36, Attacks ~, Energy 1, Accuracy 5. Basic, Shoulder Weapon, Heavy
Missle Launcher: Damage 500, Range 36, Attacks 1, Energy 2, Accuracy 2. Shoulder Weapon, Basic, Heavy
Wings: May move up to 6" and ignore interveining terrain; 1 Energy to move.
Legs: May move 6" during his turn, before or after he attack.
Gold Cards:
The Stinger: Damage 200, Range 18, Attacks 4, Energy 1, Accuracy 4. Gold, Two Handed, Energy Drain.
Haxxor: Damage 2000, Reach 0, Attacks 1, Energy 5, Accuracy 3. Gold, Two Handed, No Saves.
Saibot's Glitch: Create a Black Model Copy of your own. This Model has the same equipment as your Model, and every benefit that applies to you applies to it. However, it shares your life pool; if it gets hit, you take the damage. Also it requires Energy to fire it's weapon, same as you. Gold.
Bronze:
Reboot: Can only be played at the beginning of your turn. Player shuts down, and is unable to attack or move for his turn. He regains 2000 Health, and all Energy becomes untapped. Bronze.
All the rest of them that I had are on this page, so shouldn't really have to list them, and you have most of them already in our Decks.

I think the minumum deck size needs to be bigger. Currently a player could have 1 or 2 very powerful weapons and lots of energy in a 20 card deck.They could just hide while drawing as many cards as possible until they draw a weapon. With all that energy they would win very quickly.

But if they did that, they are losing out on Healing options, Buffstuff, and Very powerful one time use things.
It should balance itself out pretty well; hell, the Autocannon is basically made for what your saying, since it has unlimited attacks for however many Energy you put into it.
Compare 18 Energy with the Autocannon to my set up: He is fully capable of doing 1800 damage a turn, while I am only capable of doing 1200. BUT, I can still heal myself and can give myself a pretty good saving throw, and not only that, but I am pretty likely to actually hit with all three of my attacks.
To tell the truth, this is why I had one Energy untap per turn unless you Cooled Down; it prevented you from just spamming Energy and getting those 18 shots per turn.

Trust me, 1 per turn untap is way not enough, it should be full or it defeats the poitn of being able to put down 1 energy a turn, I'm also for this reason changing reboot to gain 2000 and draw one, as the untap all doesn't affect the current rules.

Fair enough on all points, we will stick with that.
Also, the name is currently CyberThreat, but it's lame and we should feel lame for calling it that. Definately needs a new name, I'm just terrible at naming things. Automatically Appended Next Post: Can you please make the Changes I asked you to the Card templates?

But, and this is a Tiny But; Energy Cost per Shot shouldn't be up top like that, we should reserve that for Cards that actually have a "Casting Cost". Maybe instead of a 1 there, make it B for Basic, instead?
Hmmm, I'm trying to think of where we could put the Cost Per Shot at.... could you fit it with the rest of them? If not, possibly on the other side of the Basic Weapon Line.

Yeh sure that's fine. Also, I mentioned I had an 'idea'. I figured it would be best to run it past you than make the cards then get dissapointed if you said no. I wanted to keep it a secret to surprise you but oh well. I'm thinking half the cards in the first set are mech cards, and half are alien cards. So aliens use ki instead of energy to power their cards, and all basic cards are shared by aliens and mechs. Lot's of cards are classed specifically as Alien or Mech and can only be used in a deck that contains only Alien/Mechs. Instead of codes Aliens have aspects that they focus on, and instead of programs they have mutations, and finally instead of Drones aliens have spawn. Tell me what you think of this, I think every game needs binary opositions to function right, even if they don't have to play against eachother. It's like magic has 5 different choices of main decks based on the colours, this has 2 atm. One based around shootiness (Mechs) and 1 based around Melee (Aliens).

NO.
You can do that with this style of game after we get the first card set going up, I will give you my full support and help you if you want it, but as for Cyber Threat, I have to give you a resounding NO.
However, you raise a good point: Binary oppositions.
CyberThreat is based off of Computer Programs coming to life in a Military Test run, and so they are blocked off from the rest of the world and are growing without alot of non military interferance. This has caused them to be split into three groups; One wants to ally with the Humans, one wants to be left completely alone, and the last thinks they should destroy humans and take over. There will be aesthetic differences, but for the most part, it's all about Deck for variety, no difference between them.

I also have no idea. I think the only thing I have ever named effectively was The Etherium Dream, this comic book me and this chick from four states away tried to make together. Other than that, all my names have been crap, I don't even like Cyber Threat.
And I'm sorry man, but I really don't want aliens and mecha in this game, it's about computer programs. Like I said though, if you want to do your own game after we get this set going, I will fully support you and help in any way I can.

Best advice I can give you, having some moderate experience in this:
If you're serious about ever getting this to production, get your own website with private forums to discuss this on. Right now everyone has access to your IP (and I have no idea about what Dakka's rules are about things posted on their forums, some forums do claim rights to all posts made on them). Or at least do it through email.
Use the thread here to attract talent, but as you develop actual specific rules keep it private.
But if it's just for fun, go for it.

On the other hand, ideas are a dime a dozen. Rules concepts can't be copyrighted, just the actual writing out of the rules. It's all about actual implementation and releasing to market that counts, and stuff like aesthetic materials can be copyrighted.
I, by myself, already came up with a card based miniature game that uses custom cards for an entirely different game. I think any game designer worth his salt has already thought of a game that mixes miniatures and cards exactly as you describe here.
But, you definitely seem like you've hit the point where you want a more dedicated core group of people helping and playtesting, a similar position I'm at for a mass battle game I'm working on.
However, I'm an artist by trade. If you need help with things like card templates, I can help. But at this point everything will just be placeholders since it seems that all the rules are in flux.
