Using drones for wars will be worse than using humans. They have their place but they will never replace humans and trying to make them do so will make wars worse.

Wars work (they aren't nice but as a method of ending confrotations they are very effective) because of their negative effects. A country loses a war because its moral is broken of it is unable to continue fighting. A country using drones is immune to these- they can sacrifice thousands of drones and no one will care. This will give more advanced countries the ability to easily invade any country they choose without any drawbacks. Being able to win against any enemy seems good but countries aren't always right and giving any country the power to attack any other country they disagree with is bad. Once you've beaten the military force you have an army you can just walk into the country. With the need to protect your own forces you would be much more effective at killing any resistance resulting in more dead civilians.

Wars between two countries with drones would be pointless. Both sides could just keep producing more. Wars would be much longer as each country can fight until they can no longer produce more. The incentive to attack civilian targets would increase. After fighting a war for years with no side going anywhere people will be much more open to using aircraft to fire on factories. Counties would have to start using drones to kill human targets or they aren't having any effect. Personally I don't like the idea of enemy drones trying to get into a inhabited area to try and kill our people. Once the drone battle has ended you will still have to fight the same military force you would have had to fight in the first place, no country is going to give up once they have lost all their drones.

not my opinion, but thats what it seems like they are going for.

It may be what Frazz is going for, but that isn't the opinion of most (hint: sane) people. A big part of what stopped the Vietnam war was the footage of the killing and destruction, people knew that US troops and pilots were behind a lot of this. With unmanned drones, it's a lot more removed. Essentially, a figure of dead Pakistanis rolling across the newscreen isn't as 'real' as knowing that your troops were the ones doing the killing.

exactly. so people dont care. some (lots IMO) of thats is because there not american. if it was americans getting shot up by drone people would be throwing a much larger fit.

How do you think the poor sods on the receiving end of the drones feel? Just because they (those being shot at) are not American does not mean they lack emotion!

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
