I think the elves look OK. But that's what's wrong with them, they're just OK. If I were doing a en elf army, I'd rather spend more on GW models for stuff that looks great, vs paying less for something that's just average at best.

To be fair, they're priced as if they're all metal cavalry. Which they are. Funnily enough, PP's all metal cavalry actually costs about the same. For example, Everblight Raptors are $49.99us for 3. Since Blood Knights come in a box of 5 and Raptors in a box of 3, to get the same amount of models, that's another $32au, so $82us. Blood Knights come to $99au. More expensive, but not by a whole lot, and that's after the dumb price increase going to finecast.
The raptors go alot further in a Warmachine army though. $100 for around 1/3rd of a normal tournament list versus $100 for around 1/10th of a normal tournament list.

Simply because a proper scale skeleton would be so fragile not only would molding/casting be difficult but they would break constantly on the tabletop and in transporting.
I hate these things, the legs keep frigging snapping and the arms refuse to be in a nice position!

Are those the Wargames Factory ones?
I got them and found the same to be true. Cheap, 30 for $20, but Fiddly and Fragile.
The scale seems to be almost perfect.
They would be fantastic for a block of infantry with one base, or as part of a diorama, but as game minis they suck.

Yup, one of the few things they make that is nice until I tried to make a few, gave up after making 5 of them (too much posability! how can that even be possible?). If you need a pile of human bones, a box of these will fill your need quite well but if you want to make a skeleton army quick and fast, I'd go with mantic since you dont need to glue their feet on to the tiny leg bones
sorry for the semi off topicness, back to the thinner than human skeleton elves

Though I do agree with your general point, I might be inclined to argue that Canis Wolfborn - the miniature, the rules, the fluff - is actually terrible enough to faintly tarnish every good or worthwhile thing humanity has produced in 6000 years of civilisation.

Depending on tournament size, 5 Blood Knights can hit about 1/4 of an army (~450pts out of a 2000pt army) after taking upgrades, command, banner and magic item. So yeah, prices are still pretty comparable. All metal cavalry is expensive to produce. Again, however, no defending the decision to raise their price again with finecast, that was just stupid.
