Tarran Growls in his throat as he watches the Tau Stealth suits slowl dissapear. The Ghosts rhino was hidden inside a hill, only the view port was sticking out and as he peered through he noticed the footprints of the Tau.

"Mark that point, get em with flames."

The ghosts slolwy open the hatch and cautiously move through the rock. Seconds later thier near etheral weapons open up unleashing a hail of shots that cover the area in explosions.

Seconds later six butchered Tau stealth suits appear on the bloodied snows.

"Thats a kill. Lets move, more targets to be found."

He grins as he sees the devilfishes come over the hill, voxing the other ghost squads in the area he does a sound of. All of the anti tank crews were in position. Time to have some fun.

Name: Monat'Nan (Meaning Lone Blade)
Faction: Tau
Rank: Shas'ui (Pathfinder)
Appearance/Personality: He is covered in scars, remarkably muscular, and slightly short for a Tau, but considering his sept that isn't surprising. Just like the rest of his sept, he is a born survivor, able to adapt rapidly to any enviroment or situation. Also like his fellow warriors, he refues to ware a helmet, prefering to rely on his own senses for survival. In a conversation, he addresses all individuals with the same level of respect and seriousness. He rarely rases his voice, and he never really has to. He can convey all emotions with the same volume, a feat which many find impressive.
Bio: Originateing from the Sept world of Bap'Cal'Da, which is famous for being the only known Tau death world. He shares many of the characteristics that his fellow warriors do. He has a supreme connection with the rest of his La'rua, all of whom have undergone the ritual of the Ta'lissera with him. He does not like to risk the lifes of his La'rua members and does his best to keep them alive, even at the risk of his own life. He does not let his devotion to his La'rua affect the way he treats others however, he simply understands that the other Shas'ui can take care of their own, so he does not have to. Monat"Nan earned his name when he was seperated from his La'rua on Bap'Cal'Da. As he moved through the jungle, his pulse carbine was smashed to bits by a rageing Bulthur. Knowing that he had to reconnect with is La'rua, he drew his bonding blade, an action that is only permitted when ones La'rua is in serious peril, and continued the search for his La'rua. After 2 weeks of searching for them in the harsh jungle, he found them dead in the nest of a Dargo. In a rage he slew the Dargo and carried its head back to his base. After explaining what had happened in the jungle, he was asgined a new La'rua, and the Ta'lissera was performed again with his new La'rua. He never forgot what had happened to his La'rua, and it is said to be the reason he has bonded so tightly to his current La'rua.

Terram Sighted in with his bone lance. He looked at the complicated sights. Range, Crosshairs, weapon drop, even kill distance. He nvere turned on the drop or kill distance, as he had learned and now they just block his vision, hell sometimes he only used the crosshairs. He amied at the Tau vehicle. "Say hello to the fisherman and his rod!" Terram sayed blowing the devilfish into a roof and bottom, killing all the pathfinders inside. The huge projectile made only a "Prrching!" as it left the Huge Launcher and one of the three reloaders( If they are out of range they help the Grenade launchers and The Lancer, as the missle launcher is easy and quick to relaod alone) quickly slid another lance in. He tapped Terram on the shoulder. One of the devil fish turned to the position.
" No enemys spotted kn the ridge sir" Said one of the pilots.
" They just ripped open Devilfish F6 though. Open fire anyway" The burst cannons opened up, but failed to do anything.
" Let 'em taste this!" One of them screamed letting Burst cannon and pulse carbines fly at the ridge.
The pulses shorted out the sights on Terrams Lance. He eyeballed the one firing the barrage and let one fly. He felt the lance launching reverberate through his core, making him smile.The devilfish pilot was smiling as his barrage tore snow of the mountain. Out of nowhere he saw a flame and before he could say feth, the devilfish was no more. The Tau caught on, most of them getting out of the tanks, thinking the AT weapons would do less if they were in cover.

"Launchers, bring down the rain." Terram said. He also signaled the rhino to open fire with its' skull cannon with bone ammo. The other groups begin unleashing and within seconds the Tau were retreating. "Cut off their exit with fire" Terram told the launchers. Out of nowhere 3 Skyrays flew over, unleashing on sqaud Zulu, and wiping them out. Terram was waiting for a reload. He got it quickly, the lance sliding and locking into place. Terram fired and clipped a skyray, causing it to spin out and crash to the ground. Sqaud Sierra( All skull cannons) opened up on one of the sky rays, and killed the drivier, causing a huge and vibrant explosion. The last one flew away before anyone could get a lock. Terram had a good day, 2 Devil fish and a skyray. The Rhino rocked. Terram looked around. He opened the hatch and manned the Skull Cannon. Nothing. Just peacful snow capped mountains. He saw a Blood Angel Storm raven, but he didn't shoot. It took a LOT of will power also, but the thing was a little to nimble, and he would have to hit it dead center, as Blood Angels were stern pilots and a clip to the tail would only be an inconvinience. They got back to Mountain HQ and shared storys. One group couldn't disembark from their rhino due to a direct shot from a rail gun. Terram wanted to kill more tanks.

The Skullscreamers were patching up holes in thier armour with small shards of Shamanistic bones when an alert came through. A platoon of Broadsides had been sighted on the southern Spine. 30 full told with dozens of Fire warrior and Skyray escorts

are you taking a Devilfish? I Seem to remember that Pathfinder squads have to take one in the codex

It is true that pathfinders are supposed to take a Devilfish, but I think my team will simply leave theirs at home, seeing as it makes it very difficult to sneak around, which is what I intend to have my guys doing.

Well, I'm gong to call it a night. Sorry to leave without posting much, but I'm to tired to really thing of anything.

Sqaud Echo(The ghost sqaud) mounted the rhiho and began moving to the South Spine. He remembered his bolter, so he could at least take a couple charging tau down "Ha, charging tau" he thought to himself causing a small laugh. He added another loader to the sqaud, because the rocket isn't as simple as he thought. He was going to take down the skyrays, while the missle focused on boradsides, and Launchers just caused hell. They got to thier vantage point when a sniper beam hit a loader in the shoulder.they all dove to cover and began digging a Trench. The shot had come from below, the Tau were catching on. Terram took the chance and fired at a skyray. "Prrching!" All the Tau looked to see nothing, but see the front skyray obliterated. " I can't get any ore shots off!" Terram yelled "Launchers, hit the broad sides." He said guessing they could infer were the tau were. The Marine on the missle laucher wanted to blow up some stuff, so he turned from cover and waited 10 seconds, and just before he pulled the trigger, a sniper died, splatering brains all over his reloader. The reloader picked it up and fired at a cluster of broadsides, killing 2 or 3. "We're are in some deep shi*" Terram sighed firing another lance.

Sam and his squad leaped into the air in and plummeted to the traitors position like a red hail stone. The glowing power around Sam's sword glimmered as it crashed into the face of a skullscreamer his brain and skull scattered other is fellow traitors. The skullscreamers turned and opened fire at Sam and his squad but their armour would save them the Blood Angels from the rear closed in and opened fire to pin the skullscreamers and the Sam and his deathwatch squad leaped into close combat slashing and cutting their way through the traitors until there was non left. The Deathwatch squad continued through the blizzered to find the traitors leader.

Terry switch to my special anti armour bolts. And continue fire keep following me. In a stone cold voice terry responded. "As you wish my master. Oh and master you are to kind to me." Yes i am and now do it. With a rattling sound the ammo switches to anti armour. The torpedo like bullets start firing towards the rhino. " 23 22 21 20...... Until reload. Continue fire" phi stated. Costla move towards the tau and take one of the ammo from the body's of the tau i want to study it."

Costla rushes towards a tau body and takes a piece.

"Continue moving. We are almost there"

The Tau broadsides turn and fire volleys of missles at the ridge, your sight is temporarily blindind by kicked up snow. You have to hunker down from the force of the explosions and when you can come up finally you see dozens of tau setting up firelines at the base of the ridge.

You hear a distressed sound coming from your two servitors and you see them on fire with promethium covering them, more flame grenades imapct around you and the fire begins to cover your own body

Sammiel apoke up " Sir, we have 18 minutes until the forces reaches."
"Eighteen minutes? THe base is little under a kilo away" Terram said quickly.
"Snow storm" One of the men said.
"Fething Tzeentch" Terram said. He didn't believe that chaos gods could control him.
Terrams heart lept whn he heard a loudseries of pops then explosions.
