Fire away. And about the ogryn cathapracts are common in the legio cyber. They fullfill the role of firsupport and protector. He i think you will love him XD

Phi calmly stepped out of the Thunderhawk, just behind Terry his Ogryn Cataphract. The snows were calm but the Adeptus Mechanicus servant could feel the screaming of the machine spirits. There was a battle somewhere nearby. He gestured to his servitors in binary and they began to shift the snow infront of him to clear him a path

Acrodulis and his men rushed from the drop pod and into the ruins of a small garage off to the enemies left flank.

"Cruor, ready with the melta gun, enemy fuel station just a few meters ahead, stay behind us while we clear a path! Vauldus, Securis, and Megas, with me, rend these heretics to pieces, make them eat your blades!"

With this Arcodulis rose his shield and charged as fast as his feet would carry him and within minutes he had smashed into a traitor, one of the traitor slaves, once a man, then chaotic filth, and now a being with a shattered body, and a pulped and unrecognizable face. His comrades jumped and screamed curses, but held their ground an fired off their lasguns. These promptly bounced off Arcofulis' corvus pattern helmet and pauldrons, while Vauldus and CO fired bolt pistols that split bones and severed limbs.

Arcodulis lept from the body of the shattered heretic and lifted his arm high above his head, smashing the adamantine head of his axe into the upper body of one of the traitors and ripped it away, with the victim falling to the ground grasping his foul blood as it poured from his body. A quick swing to the left cut the gut of another spilling entrails on the floor, the guardsman did fall but began to play with them as if they were a children's toy, all the while laughing like a maniac.

Arcodulis flipped on his vox bead "Brother Neron, we've cleared out the left flank of traitor guard send one of the tactical squads around to provide fire support, we're beginning to advance on the Skull screamers"

He removed his helm to the welcome smell of blood and smoke and the sound of the roaring motors on his companions chainswords as they carved though the enemy.

Phi and his team started walking towards the place where the screaming of machine spirits was hardest.

hmmm. a bit of background on Skullscreamers perhaps? They are a lost chapter of choas that dissapeared into the warp at the beginning of the horus heresy. then 10,000 years later they reappeared with strange powers and a hatred of all living things, they always wear helmets and they dont have heretics in thier forces.

The Spirits call you to the site of the battle. You see a group of Tau exchanging fire with warriors who seem to be half in, half out of a pile of rubble.

{I hear you Brother were closing with the enemy on our front now}

The constant keeingin in the air starts up again and you feel an impact on your right pauldron and then the explosion sends razor sharp bone shards slicing around the place. One of them catches you in the ear and rips it a bit. Your body begins healing the damage but the Skullscreamers dont exactly stp shooting. A couple more squads have arrived and even as you close with them you notice that your squad members attacks dont feel the Marines even when they should have been wiped out. Gaping holes in the Skullscreamers armour are ignored as they grimly fight back with a damnning silence

Terry open fire. Keep advancing. And stay away from the tau. I dont trust them as they torture the spirits as well. But thats for later costla corter defensive stance.

Phi walked towards the tau lines still directing the symphony of fire from terry.
He send out a burst of binary: "tau as much as i dislike this i think its best if we cooperate. I am phi from the 1649th legio cybernetica. And i am here as an ally of the marines of the blood ravens. If you fire at me then feel the imperiums wrath or join us and let these heretics feel it.

Costla and corter activated their power blades and locked on targets from the tau. Just in case.

Phi saw that there was a strange pattern in the air. He couldnt lay his finger on it what it was. Well finger more his tendril like finger. But then he read a glyph and quickely he realized what it was. TERRY. He fired wildly at anything that moved in the rubble. Actually it was anything he thought that was moving.

Phi quickely activated backup and terry became normal again restarting his main driver

**Tyranic Marta**

The Skullscreamers retreat back into the rubble and then all of a sudden a Rhino APC drives out of it. The small arms fire from the Tau and Terry bouncing of or travelling straight through its hull without damageing it.

The Turret on top of the Rhino opens fire and guns down three of the Tau who begin to retreat. One of them waves a hand at you to go with them

Phi looks at the tau a little confused. Mmmmmmm costla what does he wishes with that sign? -scratching half human voice= he wishes us to follow him sir.- aha then we do so. Terry follow me and dont lose us. Phi made his pace 20 % more efficient by adding a little speed. He followed the tau while terry was still firing.

The Rhino Kept Bareing down on them, Gouts of what appear to be melta bursts firing from the top hatch, Several of the other Tau go down as they sprint away

**Commisar Von Humps**

Arcodulis further out to the distance the chaos forces in retreat and a rhino crawling from the ruins running down xenos, and at one point a melta blast fired from the inside and atomised a fire warrior.

"Look at the Xeno scum, cowards one and all!" roared Arcoduis "Countinue the advance ignore the rhino for now, into the ruins, we can't wait for our brothers!"

The assault marines smash their way into the ruins of an old chaos monastery. So ancient that its very stones appear to have fused together.

Inside the monastery it opens out into a gargantuan chamber that descends several hundred metres down in a great spiraling staircase but the chamber is not empty bats, hundreds of thousands of bats, each about the size of a small car are flying around the place.

"Megas, flares, now." Arcodulis said with a silent hate.

The flare was lit and the bats collectively flew from the walls either deeper into the monastery or out towards the ruins.

"This place reeks of evil Sargent, i suggest we wait for the others...." Megas said, the glow the flare casting their shadows to the floor.

"WE MOVE ON. NOW" Arcodulis screamed furiously "I won't let us be deemed cowards, it smells of heresy and i haven't killed anything for a few minutes, and if there are psykers anywhere in this Emperor forsaken place, i want their heads!"

Arcodulis put on his helmet and strode purposely, deeper into the monastery, his squad mates following right behind wondering about his hate towards psykers in general, but none would dare speak, lest his zeal be turned on them.

As the squad move deeper into the monastery they feel insidious whispers inside their minds, voices speaking of things they have spent thier lives suppressing...

Sucuris sinks to his knees clutching his head...

"nooo.... get out... get out of my head you chaos Daemons... get out... no... get out... GET OUT!!!!"

His hand difts to his holstered bolt pistol and he begins drawing it to his skull

Arcodulis turns his head at the noise of power armor falling to the ground, and sees one of his men, Securis, pointing his bolt pistol towards his head.

"YOU COWARD, DON'T DO IT, YOU'RE NO BETTER THEN THE SCUM IF YOU DO IT" Roared Arcodulis like that of a battle cannon

"I t-Think i can do it...Im...im okay"

Securis has an internal battle with himself where several times Arcodulis is sure the man will give himself the Emperors Mercy.

But finally the Marine holsters his pistol with a strange jerking slam. "Lets just do this shall we?"
