Fallen Angels, A Warhammer 40,000 Role Playing Game

Brother Seargeant Asmodian felt nothing as he plummetted through the oxygen starved atmosphere of the world of Skullscream. His feet smashed into the hard packed snows of the world and his entire body sunk deep to the stone beneath. A few seconds of brute force and he was clear of the snow drift and walking along the rocky ground to line up with his fellow squad members. The ten of them had been dropped from the stormraven Glorious bloodshed seconds earlier and more squads were being dropped even now. The Blood ravens had been deployed on the planet to try to crush the Skulscreamers. The legion had definitly made a dent in the Blood Ravens reslove in the last few solar weeks. Lightning fast raids from warriors not entirely in this world had the neophytes speaking of ghost armies. The warriors would arrive in small groups of 5 or 6 but those few would be capable of decimating dozens of the Blood Ravens tactical and assault marines. Strange weapons spitting new brands of death and dening even the most veteran of comfort. The entire company was on edge and the Astartes were beginning to wonder if this was the end of the chapter.

Asmodian shook his head slightly to try and rid himself of these blasphemous thoughts the Emperor protects. He looked ver his squad, and he knew they were nervous. They wernt in thier ships, in thier territory, they were on Skullscreamer turf. And none of them liked the prospect of havng to face the horrific warriors of that dammned legion. Asmodian sighed gently into his helmet. Better get moving.
"5th squad, move out!"

This text based RPG is based on the Games workshop Warhammer 40K Universe and the Blood Angels Chapter, The Tau and many copyrighted terms will remain the same, however my own homebrew legion, the Skullscreamers (Codex in my sig) will be subbed in for the Legions of Chaos in this RPG, those of you who know my style of GMing wil know that this will be a tense RP filled with as many creepy and difficult situations as I can put in. I encourage new players to participate as well.

At the moment I am only allowing members of the Tau Blood angels chapter and Skullscreamers (Chaos) to participate. I may include furthur legions and factions later in the RPG

Cuetemoc's armour has been through so many battles and trips to the Otherworld that he is no longer truly in this world. His body can shift through solid objects and terrain as if it wasnt even there. The Highly ornate Apocalyte armour a testament to his prowess on the battlefield and the pair of Bone swords a formidable combination.

The Shas'o wears his crisis battle suit with pride and certainly with power. His white and grey armour blends perfectly with the snowy, rocky, landscape of Skullscream
The Tau arrived on Skullscream for much the same Reason the Blood Angels did. The Skullscreamers had worn down the Freema sept with lighting fast strikes that the Tau could not retaliate to becuase of the Skullscreamer capabilities to dissapear quickly and efficiently. The Freema sept high command had demanded a Cadre be sent to Skullscream to at least slow down the attacks.

The Brother Captains blood red armour has the image of a phoenix spiralling around the right thigh because of The Captain utter refusal to die. He can be brought within an inch of his life, almost to the point of death but he always comes fighting back. And his ornate mastercrafter powersword has a phoenix wing as the single crossguard.

Bio: He never removes his helmet infront of any of his brothers. He was found on Baal Fighting a gang alone holding his own until enforcers arrived. He court the eye of the Blood angels and tested. He was given a his power armour after holding a outpost alone from a horde of orks. His assault pack was awarded after slaying a chaos lord of khorne.
Equipment: Power sword, Flamer pistol, krak grenades and power armour.

hmmm, just realised something. Your a Seargeant, that means you have a squad. You are more than welcome to detail the members of your squad and run them as NPC's under your command, If you dont Ill make generic ones ummm max 10 man squad I think (including you)

In the Mean time im going to create a couple of NPC commanders, one for each faction, and a couple of minibosses for the Skullscreamers.

Marta is it ok for me to become a tech adept of the mechanicus (legio cybernetica for example?).

Id much rather start farther if its acceptable Templar, i like a challenge, fight through xenos filth and heretical scum to meet up at our objective or some such.

The Stormraven settled on its landing gear as the Assault ramp slammed down. A squad of heavily Blood Angels assault Marines stormed down the ramp joining up with 3 tactical squads, the roar of bolter shells of the Blood angels was drowned out by a horrific keening followed by rapid explosions.

The Blood angels had encountered a pair of Skullscreamer Marine squads. Who had promptly hunkered down into cover and were fireing there leathal weapons through the icy mists of the Skullscream atmosphere. The Blood angels were fighting back valiantly but the enemy were difficult to spot with thier white painted ethereal armour and stealthy countenance.

Brother Seargeant Sam slammed himself down into a snowdrift next to the nearest tactical squad, using it as cover from the lethal fire of the Skullscreamers and prepared himself. His squad doing the same.
"Bring the rain brothers. Bring the rain of blood!"

The adeept mech is a second "imperium" helping the main "imperium" there are many factions in the mechanicus ranks ranging from the legio skittari to the legio titanicus. The legio cybernaticus deploys a wide range of cyborgs to crush the foe the also are supportive to the titans as they protect them from mass infantry. U wish to know more? Oh and they are masters in repairing stuff AND they have lots of knowledge for knowledge is power

Veteran Seargeant Acrodulis was sprinting towards a droppod, his squad on his heels. He stopped at the entrance and made sure his 4 squad mates made it inside. He reached out and slammed the door shut once he was inside and strapped himself in.

15 seconds later the Droppod exploded out of the ship and hurtled towards the planet. the descent was quick, less than 30 seconds later they felt the retro thrusters slowing them down before the Droppod made final impact. The harnesses and doors blasted open and the tactical squad sprinted out into the white of the snows and straight into a firefight. Blood angels tactical squads were already exchanging fire with entrenched marines equipped with heavy weapons. the ground around the dropsite was exploding with small arms fire and larger shells and a horrible shrieking sound from the unholy bolters of the Heretics filled the air.
Acrodulis raised his power axe towards the enemy
"For the Emperor!!!!!"

hmmm. you will be closely monitered Nocturne as to how you RP this and you may select wargear from the smurfs dex only as if you were a techmarine

Appearance: heavily bionic modified he is proudly saying he is 83 percent bionic. He hides it under a mechanicus robe. He has 6 arms. 2 for lifting. 2 for repairing and 2 for fighting. He has a larger kind of mechanicus axe. Some marines underestimated him and sparred with him. They almost always lost except for some. Those where draws. He is always working on his dear "pets" further more hes very quite but he will stand his ground.
Bio:raised on mars they quickely found out he had a talent with "playing" with the servitors. They placed him in cyberneticus and gave him 4 pets.
Equipement. Himmself "servo harnes" mechanicus axe. Twin linked plasma cutters and flamer. Furthermore he has his pets.
