This project has been shelved for a few years but now I have found some mojo to get it over the line!
So, today I filled the rear gap. Tomorrow I get the rest of the turrets casted and the top gun platform trimmed and fitted.

Topside figured out. The top of the bridge section isn't glued in so I can add lighting after I've painted it.

I always wanted it finished. It's funny how sometimes you just get a total mental block. We used to be invited to do tables for Gamesday and things like this would have been exciting to do. GW stopped asking independent groups just before I got my block....go figure!
Anyway, doing this one for myself. I have to decide what I'm doing with the box hangar....a little boring at the moment though I'm considering hanging cargo containers on the outside of it to break it up. I have a minor gap to fill in front of the rudder then I want to start painting it.

Outstanding work! Terrific attention to detail and an item being built 'because you can'. I agree with doing some projects because they're fun and make great 'eye candy' on the playing field (or in the case of this behemoth- just being in the room). If off-planetary bombardments were still a thing for the IG, here's the delivery platform. Looking forward to seeing more, and remember: it's not done until it's OVERDONE.
