Depends on whether the loveable old Mechanicus felt like giving a little back. (they aren't known for this )
I guess it depends on the chapter. Some don't give a about the mechanicus and vice versa, whereas the Imperial fists stored their gene seed (not their tithed gene-seed, their personal stores) with the mechanicus on Hydra Cordatus (though it didn't end well)
