Well I did too, but then I got the back story of StarCraft and 40K. I was told that GW asked Blizzard to make a game for WHFB and WH40K but then backed out after blizzard almost had a working game. A few name changes later and Blizzard is making millions!

Not bad, although something about them looks a bit... unfinished, I would go over them with a dark wash of sorts just add a bit of a more finished look.

Thanks! yeah I was thinking of hitting them with a wash, even if it might just be to say I did I need to finish my Tau, work on some commission TK, work in my Nids and maybe once I get some closure in projects start making a Chaos Kill Team....

Hey I was working with GS today on one of my "experiment" models (see my "Free paint job" Blog) and made too much so I whipped out my handy dandy Sarah Kerrigan and added some GS!

Alright boys and girls. My Tau has kinda petered out and I have some Nids. I am finally getting some random IG troopers so I am finally getting to a project that was brought up to me only a week into meeting my LGS friends. A Mario scene into 40k. Well my mind is now running with ideas and I need to ask a question of anyone who reads this: Should I try to make the 40k models look as close as possible to the characters or should they be as close to 40k as possible but still recognizable as the characters? I am thinking along the lines of the first

Or you could take the mario characters and make them into 40k guys

Nooooooo that would be too easy plus the guy I who gave me the idea wanted it to be a slight satirical spin on a CMON diorama he saw.
