Fantastically well done! I've always like ceramics but these are amazing!

No wargames these days, more DM/Painting.

I paint things occasionally. Some things you may even like!

Been hovering around this blog for a bit. I do like your paint scheme, very clean and bright. Good one.

I will have to get around to blogging my own Necron army soon enough.

@Gunslingerpro and ceorron- Thanks gents. I like the lighter colors, think they look cool.

Finished up the 5 Praetorians. I had wanted them to look a little different given their history, but decided against it. Tabletop unity and all that. I gave them a little orange to set them apart. I was thinking they would have some distinguishing mark.

Well, the C'Tan was finished far faster than I thought. This guy looks pretty creepy. I thought I came up with this genius color scheme. Since the Shards are weapons encased in Necron technology I figured paint him like the Necron weapons. When I was done I took another look at Nightbringer and realized I painted him basically the same as every other model in the world. I guess I Tebow'd myself.

Beautiful work on the bone ceramics. How'd you do it? I've been trying to achieve that for ages!

@bloodaxgit- Its a base of Deneb Stone, watered down a little, then Kommando Khaki, then dry brush to taste with Bleached Bone. Also use that for any extreme highlights you need. Nice and easy. Thanks and good luck.

So I finished up the Cryptek and Stormlord. The staffs are a sad, sad thing. Anyway I think I am done with this army. I got my hands on an IG army which is my all time favorite. Ill post up an army picture when I get a chance.

More or less yes...Great, we've gone from cheap resin substitutes to weapons banned by the geneva convention...

40kFSU may I ask what colors you use for the Necron metal parts themselves? Is it just Prime Black, then Boltgun metal, then highlighted with Mithril Silver or is it something else? Thanks.

So the guy who bought my Necrons asked me to paint up some new units. Its gonna be Trazyn, 10 Immortals, 5 Destroyers, a Triarch Stalker and a Doom Scythe. Here is the start....

Moving pretty well on this one. 5 Destroyers half way painted. 10 Immortals ready to be primed. And its a good thing because they are infuriating to build.

Trudging right along. I hope to have all these guys done in a couple days then the real coolness starts.

I got the Immortals done. Stupid lighting source isnt doing them justice. The Destroyers are coming along, just a couple more colors and some work n the ceramics. Im taking a painting break and putting together the Triarch Stalker. Sweet!

Destroyers are all done. I am pretty pleased. These new GW colors are great but it seems like some of the colors have been changed just a little. Like the Nuln Oil is thicker than Badab Black for example. I dont know, maybe its just me. The point Im failing to make is I am glad the colors match up so well. I was a tad worried, anyway...

Managed to just about finish the bottom half of the Stalker. Still needs some touch ups...

The Stalker is finished. Working on the aircraft now. That STalker is fantastic but you really have to paint it in pieces otherwise its a train wreck to do right.
