I love these. Keep up the great work. I especially like how grandiose some of these are... like the ones that don't even fit on a tank chassis correctly, at first I was like... what the flakk is this? Then I kept going and saw Das Boom, and I approved.

Toxin Tractor painted.

While Combating Orks on the Agriworld of Besa 3 the need arose for additional chemical weapons to be created for deployment against the Orks. The 91st was able to take a tractor from a local farmer to be transformed into a banewolf subsitute, the only hitch being the farmer refused to give up his tractor unless he got to drive it into battle.

the 91st reluctantly agreed and retrofitted the tractor with a chemical tank, pumping system and sprayer as well as armor plating and supercharged the engine. The farmer quickly learned how to control his now modified farm equipment and racked up a significant kill tally in the campagn. After the battles ended he joined the 91st bringing his Toxin Tractor with him.

The Red coloration came form the simple concept of a Red Tractor. i was gonna have a John Deere joke on the rear with the label "Jeff Deer" but i couldn't find enough space lol. that and of course John Deere equipment is bright Green as opposed to Red.

Otherwise its constructed from parts from a Armored Car kit, plasticard, 40k bitz and a used up paint pot for the chemical tank!

Ty for comments and such. i know the paint is slapdash, but i don't want to take days painting a tank or anything.

I like this one the most, the red paint job and weathering looks great and is a big improvement over the pure metallic paint jobs on some other vehicles if you ask me.

the wheels come from a similar kit to this.

Same vehicale but the scale is 1/35th. the chassis with the side armor come from it as well. with plasitcard, sprues and so on glueing them together and then the cab and paint pot on the frame. Random Space Marine, IG, and Ork pieces give it its weapons and plumbing.

As for the red. I made it red for the idea that it came from old worn Farm equipment and it would not have the same colors, the other more metallic colors are the concept that the machine has aged to the point that it no longer has any real paint with nothing but bare metal and worn out steel on the outside coupled with the experimental equipment bolted on that shared a similar fate before hand; being abandoned in the planetwide junkyard that is the 91sts home planet.

giant vanquisher cannon with huge revolver-like auto loader is the current thing.
much like this machine.

mines getting a bit more armor and an enclosed crew compartment.
the revolver has 3 shells in it but you can imagine it would continue like a belt into the hull of the tank where additional ammo is stored.

not complete by any stretch. right now its know as the "Hammer Cannon" due to its imposing size and recoil system.

As for what my creations are to be called.... all i can think of is they are "Different" as opposed to Conversions or Scratch built.

Further Construction on the "Hammer Cannon" Vanquisher with the unique turret and loading system.

Added the side mounted crew compartment. concept is similar to a attack chopper seating. The commander sits behind the gunner and directs him as needed with the gunner having control over shell loading through the mechanical loader and obviously aiming and firing the massive gun. the gun itself is a Vanquisher cannon but instead of the high velocity sabot style shot the Hammer Cannon uses the solid shot but the shell is made of extreamly dense material and the shell is much much larger then the standard Vanquisher (190mm vs 120mm normal). Beyond the larger and denser shell, the standard vanquisher uses a Sabot round to do the damage. but the Hammer Cannon uses unmatched amounts of brute force to get the same effect.

Full Fluff after paint.

Cameras seem to capture more errors in painting that the naked eye can't catch, least for me. ill go back over a few bits later.

The X-190 High Density, Anti Armor Cannon, or the Hammer Cannon (often shortend to just "The Hammer" with the tank itself gaining the name). was an attempt to create a Vanquisher cannon that could be much easier to manufacture then the current Vanquisher which requires a long period of time to construct. The Hammer Cannon uses an unmatched amount of brute force to push its larger (190mm vs 120mm) and denser (at least 3 times the density of the standard Battle cannon AP round) through enemy armor. The sheer size of the cannon and its shells lead to its down fall. The shells continued to be manufactured for normal Battle cannon equiped Leman Russes but the cannon itself and its complex loading, recoil compensator, and fire control systems were difficult to create enmass. Only had a single prototype Hammer Cannon was constructed with its Leman Russ Hull, both emblazoned with the Red colors of the Machine Cult of Mars.

During the 500 year long war on Schrott the Hammer Cannon was deployed from the Vaults and was lost after engaging a Eldar offensive push. It was located decades after underneath the corpses of numerous Fireprisms and wave serpents, with a type 2 Scorpion Edlar super heavy tank on the top of the scrap pile with a massive hole in its hull. The Hammer retains its Red mechanicus colors and now fights with the 91st, its immense cannon going off with a bang that can be heard and felt for miles around, few things can survive the huge 190mm shells of the Hammer cannon....

That hammer cannon would look a whole lot better as a fixed position weapon... or even as a lance battery on a Frigate. You seem to like building big things, and are competent at doing it. Maybe you should consider doing something that I'm pretty sure has never been done before... build a starship that is capable of transporting your 91st Experimentals... just a thought

In the Words of Tweek Tweak (south park).... "I can't sleep..... ever"

Actully. i work fast to say the least, that and when im doing a project i usually stay at it unless something comes up, that i don't want to take forever on anything and want to get to the next project.

not sure whats next. probly will be a modification to a Battle tank (I at least want 3 of each tank.)
current battle tanks are the Foe Hammer and The Reaper (4 legged walker)

Yes.... but i want one of these..

only BIGGER.

18th post down. the "Emperors Hammer, Land Battleship"

and the navy boys don't seem to have anything that could hold one of them.... i wonder if a Battle Barge could carry my men and Machines? probly could find one lieing around somewhere... im sure with some "persuasion" a Renegade chapter could hand one over... then a little bit of tweaking and it would be all set! just remove the drop pods to make more room for tanks, and add some more guns, maybe some sort of rotary Nova Cannon.... *trails on*

otherwise the transport is mah car

Edit 2.0: I found my next machine. Take a Turretless Flakpanzer 4 Ausf G. and modify into a Malcador Defender. The actual flak panzers turret was transfered onto a previous creation. the Whirlwind Hydra tank. So time to get to work, that and have a south park marathon playing on my computor next to me. now to procure a few more heavy bolters. had the idea to use plasticard tubes, but they would likly look more like the machine has AutoCannons all over it (that would be FUN!! hehe).

well... it might be next. lol i can concentrate on a single project but finding another is the hard part

The vehicle known as the "Harbinger of Conquest" became famous during a campaign to exterminate a Ork Waagh attacking the planet of Dranteir 3 which was in close proximity to a newly forming Forgeworld and was made into the location where the Waagh would be halted. The 91st along with several other regiments were tasked with holding the opening to a canyon that lead into the main hive city and imperial base on the planet. The battle nearly went south for the Guard until the 91st's commander called in the wrath of the Harbinger, a 100 megaton nuclear warhead from a single shell of the Harbinger wiped out the entire Green Skin Offensive in a single stroke. The battles continued until the Mag'ar Rok was order destroyed and while other regiments hurried to gain the glory of the Roks destuction, the 91st fired upon the Rok with a single shell and vaporized it out of existance along with every xeno in and around it.

Oh I'm sure the Navy has room in a battleship or carrier someplace. But it was just a thought. To make one of the naval ships would be quite the undertaking, as would that giant beast of a tank. GL with the hydra, looking forward to seeing it.

Orkish yes but i can't bring myself to play orks. (i honestly cannot figure out why, i used them a few times in a battle just didn't like them *shrug*).

As for the paint. Base with a spray (black) then everything else by hand. most weathering (at least on the newer creations) i use spounges. ill have to try the spray at some point after getting the equipment.

I actully have a "voulenteer" for the X-1000 Mega Tank. the only issue is the subject is too short (length wise) for my liking. i want a good LONG tank. but my best searchings of the interwebs and other places have not located a sutible machine that would not break the bank, so i may have to use this giant.

As for that Hydra. the Whirlwind has already been constructed, hes on Page 2. the Whirlwinds Turret on the other hand comes from the Panzer 4 Flakpanzer i mentioned. the Flakpanzer now no longer has a turret nor its quad AA armament BUT its hull is large enough to work as a Malcador and with soem work i could build the mobile bunker known as the Malcador Defender from it.

Heres my X-1000 cannidate..... please no defecating in shock....

second is the Kasrkin underneath the immense ground clearance of the X-1000 Cannidate

As someone who just built an Ordinatus, I approve of this project.

Also, I HIGHLY advise you to pick up and read any and all "Bolo" books. Start with the originals by Keith Laumer, then move on to the compliations.

Enjoy!

I heard of the Bolo super tanks once but the tank concept came to me from the insane P-1000 Landcruiser Ratte from Germany in WW2. either way ill have to run by the book store sometime and pick up a few of those.

Also i saw your Ordinatus and to say its impressive is an understatment! increadible work!

The only issues i have for my X-1000 Project are

1. I've created the rules/abilitys of this behemoth and its just under an Emperor Titan in all catagories (fits between a Warlord and Emperor), with slightly less firepower, points cost and son on of a full fleged Emperor Titan. But who in the right mind would face such a God of War? (no less could i find a table that could support this tank. the X-1000 Cannidate is HEAVY and the addition of weapons such as broadside batlte cannon, Hydra turrets and more would only increase this. not to mention transport would be a pain!!

2. Im probly gonna do the project but over a period time. smaller projects like a Leman Russ modification is quick and easy are the parts are either cheap or readily available.

3. I will run out of paint

Anyways.
I think i figured out whats next (besides the X-1000). In place of a battle cannon a Russ could have a missile/Rocket Launcher on the turret similar (not exact) to this one
with the engine area replaces by a box-like ammo stowage.

During firing the launcher would be juet like the real missile launcher above. the launch rail would go vertical and from the rear of the tank and a missile would emerge and slide onto the launch rail. The launcher would then go horizontal and the turret and misisle could eb aimed by the gunner. the MIssile would be a dumbfired weapon with only enough guidance to keep it on a ballistic trajectory akin to a normal cannon shell.

I might have left some out (i don't have them infront of me) ill edit and add them should i run across one i missed.

As for troops few have names.
But there is my 2 tech preists Bob and Steve (Bob has the Gear Axe and Steve has a Drill device)
Lieutenant Rodgers, A Kasrkin with a plasma gun that once wrecked havoc on the rear of several Space marine tanks by himself .
Private Jules: a Plasma Gunner who always seems to kill a Dreadnaught when its feilded even if it means dieing cause his gun blew up on him.

the latter 2 names flop between models that manage to do certin feats.

*"Banshee" Rocket Tank intercom recordings*
"Sir we got a squad of our tanks name stealers charging our men ahead!"
"Scream back at them! Fire!"
*the scream of the rocket is heard in the background of the comms*
"We got a hit! massacred the lot of them!"
"The troops will deal with the rest, Wave serpent on the left! Load!"
*Turret motors whir and the mechanical hum of hydrolics come to life as another rocket is loaded onto the turret rail*
"Fire!"
*Rocket screams off the rail*

Rocket Tank (Battle Tank) is nearing completion. need a bit for armor on the rocket rail and obviously paint and few other things.

Im calling it a Rocket tank as a Missile is more guided, these rockets only have enough guidance to keep themselves in a ballistic arc akin to a battle cannon shell and have the same equivilant Armor Piercing adn High Explosive qualitys to a battle cannon shell.

The projectile's rocket motors of the Banshee have a distinct "screaming" sound hence the name of the tank, the screaming also comes from the sheer speed of the rocket. fluff wise the crew jokes that the Eldar stole their tanks name (The Eldar Banshee infantry unit) and enjoy killing them in what they percieve to be a case of irony.

Fuller fluff after paint and such as normal.

Banshee, half painted.

Shes not done. not by a long shot. Although i've been having this urge to leave it as is with the large amounts of black. and to put the weathering on it already. should I?

Anyways. This is the third "Battle Tank" in my batlte tank squadron. the first 2 being the Foe Hammer and Reaper. this one is an experimental Rocket Launcher.
the Rockets having the same Armor Peiceing and High Explosives that a batlte cannon shell would have.

The large rear structure where the engine would usually be is where the rockets are stored. The Name Banshee comes from like i said before. the Rockets motors letting out a screaming sound as they fly. It was gonna be the "Howler" but for some reason that doesn't have the same ring as "Banshee"

Banshee Complete.
Battle Tank Squad complete. the Ghosts of Vengence.

XMD-49 Banshee Rocket System

The Banshee rocket system was an attempt to create a ground based Rocket Defense turret. mounted into a bastion or defensive poistion the Banshee system would be operated by a remote operator inside a nearby bunker. Able to unleash rockets just as powerful as a battle cannon's shell it was a formidable defenseive sytem. After testing it passed with flying colors but dispite this never entered production and its prototypes were dissasembled and only one was sent to Schrotts vaults for safe keeping along with all the data on the system.
During the 500 year Schrott War, the Banshee was removed from the vault and placed atop a bunker near a traitor guard encampment. Manned by a aging tech preist it racked up at least 7 light armor kills (3 chimeras, 2 hell hounds and 2 Sentinals) a well as 3 Tank kills and uncountable infantry kills. The banshee's screaming rockets were onyl silenced after a all out assault toppled the rocket turret from its perch which over time became buried under tons of rubble

It was recently rediscovered and even its old operator survived by steadily repairing himself through the nigh unlimited amount of spare parts that littered Schrott. The Tech preist who has forgotten his own name (due to total solitude in the Wastelands) now commands the tank the system is mounted on. the remaining crew are tankers who are highly acustomed to the mechanicus and they and their commander mesh well. They refer to their commander simply as "Sir"

The Banshee Tank rolls across the battlefield screaming Death upon its foes and the enemys of the Imperium.

I've seen his tanks and i find them very cool.

I probly have fewer tanks then him (i have not counted this is an estimate via viewing his gallery). both mine and his are unique from other 40k stuff and are vastly different in their own ways.

Some of his seem to deviate from the standard "Rule templates" (ex: i use the general size, shape and weapons of a LRBT for a design such as the Reaper which follows the "outline" of a LRBT dispite it being a 4 legged war machine and can play as a LRBT. same goes for baneblades and others). But theres nothign wrong with that nor do i find problems with it.

I could create similar machines (and give them rules and points cost even). one i thought of is the "Goliath, Super Heavy Urban Assualt Vehicale" which would be the definition of a Rolling Fortress, with super thick armor and numerous small turrets and guns that spew rounds everywhere. as well as others including but not limited too, a Super Heavy Chem Tank, a Rapid Fire Super heavy Artillary, Infiltrating Tanks, C-130 gunship style aircraft and more.

Or a Upgrade for Leman Russes that lets them Deep Strike (with their own set of hazerds and costs) or give a Russ Amphibious capabilitys (again with their own cons and costs).

The only problem being that few people want to face such differnet machines lol. I do my best to not make them OP (i often even name their weaknesses. the aformentioned Golitah has alot of anti infantry firepower but its shorter ranged and if a long ranged anti tank weapon fires at it or a tank gets to its flanks or rear its dead.)

Speaking of which the next project may be based on a French Tank chassis. maybe a Hotchkiss with Rockets or a B1 with its turret stripped off and a bunker like structure on its roof with the hull 75 increased to a Demolisher Cannon

Plus a pic with all my Russes. There is a little orange tank with a black turret on the left infront of The Hammer. his name is "Template" i stare at him and imagine werid things to do to a LR (such as the Banshee rocket turret). I will eventually modify him as well. I was going to buy a Stormtalon. strip the engines and cockpit and use everythign esle for scrap parts. the engines would be magnatized and put on the side of Template along with a few other thruster nozzles to give him the aformentioned "Deep Strikeing Russ" Modification. the Cockpit of the Stormtalon as i written before would go to a Volkjager style aircraft i have the parts set aside for.

"Template" actully got to play as a Deep striking russ in a game. my opponent agreed to his usage as such. He manged to deep strike behind advancing fire warriors + their wave serpent and blow them away with a blast of his cannon, before becoming the center of attention (and dieing) which allowed me to push forwards and defeat the eldar!

Ill get back when i have another project decided

Yeah, i also attempt to keep them sane in the power dept. Have had little issues when using in Apoc games. Most of mine are actually using standard 40K weapons and are actaully tame enough for game and have been as killable as any other machine!

These are not only unique works you have there, but the speed you crank 'em out is also wild!

I wonder if the top of that monster stuart tank will be replaced by one more to your liking?

Oh yeah, and adding amphibious to a tank if using the (Vehicle Design Rules),VDR is just 10pts to the base costs.

The Stuart tank (AKA the X-1000 Cannidate) will have its turret as the base of the construction. kinda like the foundation of a building.

a few things will be removed, other things will be placed onto it.

im hoping to get a gigantic armored doulbe barreld turret liek the P-1000 Ratte.

Its main guns would be the enormus cannons a Emperor Titan can weild (the Vengence Cannon if i recall correctly)

In its hull would be the Plasma Annialator (another Emporer Class titan weapon).

ENGAGE COPY/PASTE!!!!
*Tech preist* Thats not possible sir...
*Me*..... what....
*Tech Preist* The machine spirit is acting strange today
*me* JUST DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!!

The Emporers Hammer, Land Battle Ship

Giantic tank (more a land ship hence the name) with titan grade guns (and more). dwarfs a Reaver titan and its main turret stands about shoulder high of a Warlord. it is as long as a Capitolis Imperalis.

AV:14/14/13
Structure Points: 10
Void Sheilds: 6

Weapons:
Dual Vengence Cannons (Emporer Class titan weapon) in the primary Turret.
Plasma Annialator (Emporer Class weapon) in the front Hull, limited fire arc
Upper Front hull: 2 Volcano cannons (seperate turrets),
Lower front hull, 2 vulcan mega bolter turrets.
Broadsides: 6 Battle Cannons, 6 Twin Linked heavy bolter turrets, 6 twin linked Lascannon turrets, 3 limited transverse Baneblade batlte cannons.
Rear: 2 turrets with duel Turbo laser turrets. and a pair of heavy bolter turrets.
Upper deck: 4 turrets with Earth Shaker cannons, pair of Hydra Turrets, Death Strike Vortex missle Launcher (6 missles)
attached to rear turret are 2 Hydra Turrets.

weapon upgrades like a hunter killer missle or stubbers would be utterly redundant, but useable.

The Emporers Hammer is the battleship of tracked vehicles. the Capitolis Imperialis is larger but the Hammer has enough weapons to make an Emporer Titan cringe and run.
The Emporers Hammer rolls into battle spitting thousands of tons of ordinance into the enemy, Titans fall before it, armys run or die, and citys crumble to dust. Only a proper Emporer titan has more firepower if only by a small margin. Meters of ferro steel and adamantium protect the behmoth machine, along side several void sheilds, as if the tonnage of ordinace it carries was enough of a deterrent of attack. The only known weakness would be a melee attack by a Titan but as few titans can "sneak up" on the Hammer without being detected by its escort or its extensive senory arrays, other then a massive concerted attack by other Titans or a huge army (not including bombardment by space craft).

Points: 4000

Its from my long Proposed Rules thread. "Create Your own War Machines." personally i belive my creations on there are balenced, but im willing to modify them and balence them further.
The above profile is what i want my X-1000 to be..

A Tracked Titan. The final Word in Armored Warfare.

Its ment to be between a Warlord and Emperor in terms of Stats. in all catagorys. Its main guns are that of a Emperor but the Emperor can carry far more Titan weapons (turbo lasers, quake cannons you name it), with the X-1000 having more conventional weapons (enmass) like battle cannons and Earth Shakers.

As for the weapons i design in the Create your machine thread. i again have balence in mind.

Im not gonna copy/paste the entire thread XD,

Your fully welcome to try out the machines. (please give credit). always make sure to have a proxy for the machine and always ask your opponent if you can use the machine.

As for me i would love to construct many if not all of the machine i "built" in that thread. From the Goliath to the tiny Mantis Stealth Tank i want to try them out!!
