felixander wrote:Before we start updating models or doing new variants (Steel Legion, etc) Let's first be worried about every army getting a model for everything in the Codex from GW, even if it's a conversion turret, etc.

Imperial Guards should get Veterans, Penal Legion, and Hydras before another division. Eldar still need Seer Council, I believe Tyranids need Tervigons and a wings for Hive Tyrant/Shrikes, etc

I know FW offers SOME options... but not many people wanna spend over $20 + shipping to whatever country you're in (unless you live in England) just so you can get wings on your warriors! And release squad boxes of SoB! Poor angry nun armies =(

We used to have squad boxes.

I managed to get my hands on 5 of them before they stopped making them, plus a Repentia box, plus a Seraphim box.

I think Chaos should get a plastic contemptor dread. They're supposed to be ancient heresy era tech, so surely chaos are more likely to have them? Wishful thinking, but still....

I am not too well versed in all the CSM fluff, but it would seem likely that they too have access to drop pods... So yea... Chaos drop pods would be pretty cool!

Just be glad they updated the models heavily from 2nd edition!

... why? I mean, that's like releasing everything for Dark Eldar except Raiders and Venoms, discontinuing the old Raider, and saying 'just be glad they updated the other models'.

Tyranids need their second wave pretty badly, considering it holds one of the most important units from the book.

I still rather not have Tervigons than be stuck with the bucktoothed Tyranid Warriors =P

I want a Necron Titan. Pylons are just not... intimidating, I dunno. I seem them blow stuff up but it doesn't get me all hot-n-bothered like a Titan does. Ok ignore the rules part, I just want a walker.

It's a stationary gun. I mean, I had a whole army of stationary guns with the 3rd edtion codex, know what I mean? Also Living Metal blows now.

Plastic obliterators, On top of that i want them to be more machine based kind of like mini dreadnoughts but bigger then terminators. The ones now with the flesh gobbed on them with weapons growing out are just =P

Why yes i have I get the fluff behind them, I get why the model technically works, i just have a preference for more machine looking things. Hell, I'd even settle for something similar to what happened to the mechanicus adept in "Storm of Iron".

One is a lightweight and easy to use material that allows for detailed modelling with minimal effort in construction.

The other is Finecost.

About $10 a miniature! Ba Dum Dum

One is a medium that they excel at.

The other is a medium they suck at.

From that description can you tell which medium is the revolutionary shilled as "the most detailed and easy to use miniatures in the known universe?"

Actually, should Forge World wish to make a Necron titan, there would arise the interesting problem that, unlike all of the other armies, there's no Epic precedent to follow.
