Primary army are Necrons since White Dwarf 217/218 - yeah, still have all of the miniatures from that era and I've found the old Destroyers make good proxies for Tomb Blades.

Also have a fledgling Space Wolf force all primed and ready for paint...just need to find time and the will to do it.

Just started out and picked Necrons because i was told they would get a new codex soon after and undead(ish) robots in space sounded like fun. It was also an army none of my friends played (they play BA, Wolves, DA/chaos marines and orcs and we are well on our way in talking another friend into joining us and he leans towards tyranids).

As a secondary army i picked GK because i love the the model of the dreadknight, i had loads of metalic paint left after doing necrons and i wanted a low unitcount army i could use to play with as we all built our armies(and i didn't feel like playing necrons at low points as they scale more towards 1500+).

Our first goal was a 1000p fully painted army before we started to play and we just recently had our first few rounds of battle on our home made board with a Manufactorum and an Imperial Sector built on. Great fun(glares at my friend the orc player that needs to paint his 125 boys )
