Do they even need to? Those guys are pure power, it's absolutely impossible to defeat them completely...the other gods might be able to make them retreat for a while, but then they'd be back and even stronger.

As chaos gods (all of them, ork and eldar gods included) draw their powers from the believes and emotions of their followers, and as orks are the most numerous race out there, I would say Gork and Mork would be fairly damn powerful. No idea why they haven't clashed with the ruinous powers though..

that was my entire point. Gork and Mork would make short work of the other 4. and because the Ork's believe SO much, they're strength is ghastly. I honestly would imagine they haven't torn Khone a new one is just simply because they don't feel he's a threat.

They have...the gods, all of them, including the Emperor, are in a state of perpetual conflict over the souls and mind sof their followers. It's just that only Powers take part in the Great Game, because:
1) They don't trust the Emperor and He doesn't trust them.
2) The Eldar Gods are dead and were they're previous arch-enemies.
3) The Ork Gods don't care for such things.
4) The gods of other races are too weak for them to notice.

I always assumed Gork and Mork were their own form of God, separate from Chaos or C'tan. Furthermore, I don't think they could simply "curbstomp" Chaos though I don't think Chaos could "curbstomp" them either.
