I work out in the Middle East, in summer the temp regularly reaches 120f (in the shade) I've left stuff in my car (again in the shade) and found an internal temp of over 150f.
I wouldn't buy armour that would fall to bits if I left it in the Humvee.

OH. On both points.

160 Degrees is actually pretty low. The space between your back and the inside of the vest could be 160 degrees under the right circumstances. The temperature that comes out of the vents of an m16 is hotter than that too. And -60? We do training up in the canadian wilderness that's around there.
