It was a Culexus Assassin; what SG has strange head apparatus and gets more powerful when people are around him?
As for yours, the only thing I can think of is Chronus, although I can't see anything about "midnight blue", but he's the only vehicle upgrade character I can think of.

Chaos Spawn; their best use is being there for when you manage to Gift of Chaos something. The heat of a sun sits at my core, yet still i'm abhorred; Those who can use me see my cost and are floored. Though I pose no risk to the one that controls me, I can still blast holes in the most armoured of enemies. Walkers are what you will find me the most on, And then used in pairs, for i'm a _________.
