In my gaming group I've become pretty famous for my terrible rolls. To the point where other people will spectate the game and sometimes even go as far as to keep track of my rolls (as I recently found out).
I have been having especially bad luck making terminator armor saves lately. I played a game yesterday (which I actually won!) in which my whole terminator squad was wiped out by a group of 7 basic chaos marines before getting to even fire a shot all game. He handed me 7 dice, and I failed 5 of them.
After the game, one of my regular spectators (self described as a fan of my ability to take bad roles in stride) came to me with a piece of paper, and told me he had been keeping track of my rolls. He read off a bunch of statistics he had gathered from the last 9 games he had watched me play. The worst was out of 67 terminator saves, I have failed 53. Another really bad number, which I don't remember exactly, was my shooting with scout snipers (which I only used in 6 of 9 games).
The most important thing was that he, I, and a bunch of the gamers at my FLGS had a good laugh at some of the numbers. I will admit years ago it used to bug me a bit, but these days I see it for how it is, just fun and games.
