Send Chenkov with 3 billion conscripts after Gazzy.
Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.
I think you'd just end up with 3 billion dead conscripts and one dead commander. The thing is, Chenkov may think like an ork -- but his conscripts don't.
I've got an idea !!! Either build a titan that has a firing balcony just for vindicare, maybe can fot 100 or so sniper peeps. Alternatively just evacuate the planet and call down an exterminatus round to the face.
Tournament record: (W/D/L)
Space wolves : 1/1/1
Dark Eldar : 6/0/1 (1 overall win)
Daemons :8/0/2 (1 overall win)
Normal games starting 5/11/12:
Dark Eldar 13/0/1
Daemons 32/1/1
Friends armies 1/0/0
If the Vindicare fails... then Callidus disguises as an Ork and goes for it... if that fails a team of Venumiums, Culexus and Eversors, probs 2 or 3 of each should get the job done
lol, I wonder what would happen if Cain went after him. Both have significant plot armor, one canon, and one in a book series.

Maybe the orks all believe that Ghaz can't die so strongly that he literally can't Yay waaagh field...
If the Officio Assassinorum could kill Ghaz, they would have by now, as he's up there on the IOM's most wanted list

On top of all this, you're telling me a Imperial Assassin has what it takes to kill the greatest Ork Overlord that has done this much and LIVED?????? Bull

We have to remember that Orks reproduce asexually, and if a Ork could beat Ghazghkull; wouldn't we have seem that?
Orks win through strength, experience, or pure dumb luck... I'm guess the last one X)
Well actually hoping the last one, would be hilarious to see the great Gazzy be mortally wounded by another nob and then stuck on an orky throne

IIRC Ghazghkull led the space battle at Armageddon, meaning that the assassins haven't gotten a "clear shot" so to speak. They may be good, but they have to board Ghaz's Command Rok, get to him and then kill him without being discovered.
For thirteen years I had a dog with fur the darkest black. For thirteen years he was my friend, oh how I want him back.
He spent a good amount of time on the ground too, including running over Yarrick in his tank IIRC
He's been there several times

Ok Ghazz doesnt lead his forces at the front. He has warbosses for that. He leads all his forces from behind the scenes. Only coming out when the fighting is to good to miss. He probably is in his warship In a huge fleet of warships. We dont know which ship he is on since he has never been discovered on one. In the end it is almost impossible for them to track him. There might be some ways but they havent found him yet so I dont know.
Actually he's generally portrayed as being in the thick of the action
Pg 58 Ork Dex
Pg 22 Ork Dex
Possibly PG 9 also, but that could just be a megaboss.
I don't see anything in the fluff saying he sits it out on a command ship.
I think i remember him teleporting up to Nazdreg's one after fighting on the planet's surface in one BL novel though..

Sucks that you can't use Exterminatus or Orbital Bombardment 'cause of the civilians and sheer number of troops there.

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios
The Imperium has never let civilians or their own troops stop an Exterminatus.
Its just that Armageddon is too valuable as a planet to Exterminate.

BULLing. The ones that do that tactic aren't warbosses at all. Warbosses, Warlords, the Overlord Gazzy ALL lead from the front to maintain their position as leader. Ghazghkull may have warbosses under his command, but he has them control a section of the entire war; with him traveling around from fight to fight where it's the brutal. The reason why the warbosses are incharge of the war now is because Ghazghkull went to conquer worlds whose defenses were at bare minimum for the effort at Armageddon.

Haha, no, its way better than that. Ghazzy had no tank at the time. He heard of an imperial commissar that was stopping his plans, So he hunted Yarrick down (I believe behind enemy lines) found him... and headbutted him to near death... much cooler than a tank, and just makes him seem more amazing in general.
He also got run over on pg 24, with a battlefortress called Doomrolla, although it doesn't say Ghaz was behind the wheel :( Would be cool if he was though.

Actually as of 6th Edition a greater Warboss has been mention, simply known as The Beast. In M32 he actually came fairly close to uniting the Ork Race and led the largest recorded Waaagh! in history which was defeated by the Imperium at "great devastation" to the Space Marines. As of right now not much is known about him though.
He defeated 3 Primarchs before the Emperor arrived in the nick of time to save them.

I'm just saying; we're talking about one of te greatest Orks of all time, and saying a assassin could kill him? If it could be done, it would be done by now.

That's a stupid way to think...
Example: The Imperium could probably totally annihilate the Tau with comparative ease. It can be done but at great cost. The Imperium has decided that the cost to its other sectors of space is too great.
They could probably kill Ghazghkull with an assassin. Maybe several but it could be done. He isn't invincible and an imperial assassin is one of the deadliest things the Imperium has at their disposal...

Well no but that's besides the point...
I could make a similar argument that the Tau can't kill the Emperor...
