How about a 500pts eldar list with avatar, two wraithlords and two 5x dire avengers. I had to try it once in the nearest gw games night. Well, the worst thing to happen was both the avatar and one wraithlod losing a single wound each. Yeah I know, I won't do it again.

Back in the day when I was young and liked Khorne above all other armies I went insane over Berzerkers and filled an army with about 2k points of them and their followers. By followers, I mean nearly 1500 points of cultists I made from Warhammer fant. marauders. My friend allowed me to play his DA army and until he gifted me a Daemon Prince to play with, his rending, snipers, and tanks roflstomped me repeatedly across the board. TBH, I'm not sure who exactly was the troll in that situation, we both laughed our asses off at it.

Way back when I played as a kid during 4th, one of my friends brought three hammerheads to a 750 point game. My pride and joy were two terminator squads, one tactical with an assault cannon and Cyclone Missile Launcher, the second assault with 3 TH/SS and 2 LC (this was before they broke Storm Shields). Both showed up on different turns, and were completely mauled by the submunition rounds (while he was able to keep the tanks out of TH/PF/CF range.
My other 4th troll story was a small 500 point game with my friend (a self professed tread head) who was using the list for an Imperial Guard Tank Company he found online somewhere (command tanks instead of command squads, 2 troops squads in Chimeras, and 2 Russes, one of which was his command tank. It was rather trollish, but not quite as trollish as my army filled with dedicated anti-tank weaponry (I had 2 5 man melta squads, 2 5 man assault squads with meltabombs, and a near barebones commander).

I faced a 2k army.
It consisted of Karn the Betrayer, and 120 footsloggin Bezerkers. vs my GKs.
At the end of the game, Kharn and 4 Bezerkers were left alive against my Landraider. I go to tank shock 2 Bezerkers off the only objective they hold.
Death or Glory with meltabomb. Landraider explodes, both Bezerkers fail their armor saves. Chaos wins because I was tabled

I once saw a Chaos Marine army (3rd ed) where each model was converted.
Khorne Berzerkers had blades attached to the bottoms of their feet and weapons were replaced with hockey sticks.
Bloodletters had their swords removed and replaced with sacks of toys while their heads were rescultped to have Santa Claus hats.
Rhinos all had Zambonies attached.
He had both a "home" and "away" team.
I don't think that's really trolling but it was awesome.

Conscripts can be something other than bareboned? I kid, that would have been fun to chew through. Cue the one land raider redeemer doing its best against the hordes.

The 2000pts list the store owner of my FLGS is using is pretty nasty. I've played him five times against his list and still not beaten him. Lysander 20 Tac TDA (2 assault cannons per squad) 10 Assault TDA (lighting claws and thunder hammers ahoy) 2 five man Scout squads (each with a missile luancher) 1 full Tac squad (the free upgrades only) And a bastion with a quad auto-cannon gun I can (at lest in the last two games) by turn 6 get rid of most of his TDAs (if not all) as well as the bastion and the scouts, but for fracks sake Lysander is damn near impossible to take down. Folks that have seen his set up have always said that I'm going to get ROLF stomped but my Guard (which is not a friendly game list either )have always put up a bloody good fight and made him work for it
