They're about even, though it depends on what your BA was in when considering liberal arts.

Generally speaking, if you want to get into generic "business", its better to study accounting and then grab an MBA, MPA, LLM, or JD after a few years on the job. In short, the more technical knowledge you have, the easier it will be to find work. The exception being math, which has fewer relevant employment opportunities than you might think, at least if it isn't paired with computer science.

that's because a disproportionately high number of gakstains that are incapable of achieving anything in life are ending up with liberal art's degrees when they should be going straight for that dish washing job from highschool. hell, if the bastards spent the same time doing that same job as they did wasting their time pretending and failing dismally at being intellectual, they'd scrape through 4 years and end up with the same wage but far far far less debt. And a non-pretentious attitude centered around a degree that's made worthless by completing it by virtue of the fact that it's the easiest one to complete.

Also, most business majors I've met are nothing more than the same kind of incompetent moron taking a liberal arts degree, with the only difference being that they have rich parents and wear a suit to class. They also have a habit of inappropriately quoting milton friedman.

15 successful trades as a buyer;
16 successful trades as a seller;

To glimpse the future, you must look to the past and understand it. Names may change, but human behavior repeats itself. Prophetic insight is nothing more than profound hindsight.

It doesn't matter how bloody far the apple falls from the tree. If the apple fell off of a Granny Smith, that apple is going to grow into a Granny bloody Smith. The only difference is whether that apple grows in the shade of the tree it fell from.

This. MBA are pretty useful when tied with another degree. A software engineer with a MBA has a much better chance of working in management/directory positions, plus it a bonus when you are inevitably laid off and have to freelance

As on the previous thread way back. There was a shooter. The female was going through a window and bayoneted in the butt. It would be something I would most diffenetly do

Bayonet part never came up in other thread if I remember

You mean the perpretrators claimed there was a shooter. Who miraculously did not injure even one of the guardsmen. A claim dismissed by the government commission set up to investigate the incident.

That sounds like you think there was only one victim. At least 11 were hospitalized with bayonet wounds. Not sure if there were more who just didn't go to hospital.

Suppose that doesn't really belong here, though - I just had to think of the connection as the UCD officers here made the same excuses as they were made there. The whole "they were surrounding us! honestly!" bit sparked my memory.

Provide me the link please to show 11 bayoneted. I'm curious because this never came up in the other thread and I remember we talked quite a few pages about it. Also there was just the one mention on the Kent.edu site that I refered to

From WIkipedia:

The National Guard were ordered to sweep the building and arrest those inside; eleven students and journalists were bayonetted when those outside did not hear the order to disperse given inside.

In the Guard's defense, they were just trying to rush the border to get out of New Mexico and the students got in the way. I'd run over you too.

Well you know how it is, anything with Mexico in its name causes people to have this weird urge to emigrate.

Mexico has many beautiful areas. New Mexico is the Devil's armpit. Its sucks so bad its not even a good desert. Its not enough desertlike to be Arizona or Sahara. Its like if Mother Nature said to the Permian Basin: "Nope, you suck really really bad, but not quite bad enough."

Jeez Frazz tell us how you really feel.

Aye, that was in New Mexico. Fail on my part.

Here's the newspaper article on that tho: http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=t3ouAAAAIBAJ&sjid=r4YFAAAAIBAJ&dq=bayonet&pg=2230%2C1943780

There are also reports of "a few" students injured by bayonets at Kent, but that's "just" eyewitness accounts and this book, nothing from a news outlet or an official commission.

I don't think I've been around for that other thread, but then again I only started hanging around in Dakka OT about a month ago or so.
