Current Favorites:
Chopped
Colbert Report
Daily Show
Family Guy
Game of Thrones
Jeopardy
Ninja Warrior (Sasuke & Kunoichi)
Top Gear (UK)
Robot Chicken
The Thick of It
Veep
Also Boxing (mostly on HBO & Showtime), some MMA, and NFL for sports. And the Olympics, of course.
And BBC News America for news
I’d also like to give a nod of appreciation to Bud Greenspan’s Olympic documentary movies, which are properly films, but I always catch them late at night or on weekends on TV, and they’re often some of the most wonderful television I’ve ever watched.

Favorites which are no longer running:
Black Adder
Extras
Firefly
Fly Away Home
Generation Kill
The Inbetweeners (UK)
Kids in the Hall
Max Headroom
Monty Python’s Flying Circus
Planet Earth
Rome
Star Trek (original series and Next Gen; although I’ve heard DS9 got really good later, I only watched the first season or two).
Twin Peaks
West Wing

Stuff I watch regularly but wouldn’t necessarily call “favorites”:
American Dad
Aqua Teen
Futurama
Metalocalypse
The Newsroom
Real Time with Bill Maher
Squidbillies
True Blood

On my need to watch at some point list: Battlestar, Breaking Bad, The Wire, Mad Men, and the second half of West Wing (only watched the first four or five seasons). I’m just terrible at getting up the motivation to sit down and watch back episodes of a TV series.

Surprised to see QI so popular.

Oh! And Arrested Development is amazing. Probably the cleverest and funniest sitcom I've ever seen. I hear they're making a film of it.

Apparently there's a new series of The thick Of It on the way, which will be interesting with Tucker's party being the opposition this time around. In any case I'm looking forward to more of Capaldi's vulgar diatribe!

Don't get a lot of "TV time", but when I do I most often watch

The Walking Dead
Big Bang Theory
True Blood (wasn't crazy about this season)
The Andy Griffith show
and just about anything with Gordan Ramsey in it.

I am both selfish and chaotic. I value self-gratification and control; I want to have things my way, preferably now. At best, I'm entertaining and surprising; at worst, I'm hedonistic and violent.

I started watching Transformers Prime this weekend. I'm eight episodes in, and I'm enjoying it quite a bit. Also watched the first episode of the new Sherlock series set in modern times - and was also quite impressed.

....Man, Netflix is so worth my $8 a month

Why? It's AWESOME.

We were once so close to heaven, St. Peter came out and gave us medals; declaring us "The nicest of the damned".
