Actually, yes. The behaviour of Blood Claws and other characters including the Lone Wolf are really unique. From an aesthetic to a combat tactics point of view. If you want Khorne(a close combat army) to be seperated from the Undivided, the Space Wolves(Close Combat) should be seperated from the Space Marines.


Space wolves is a mid range army, BA is more along the lines of a CC army than them, though those rules could be represented ingame for them with the exception of Lone Wolf, that one could be a unique unit alongside Fenrisian wolves and Thunderwolves. Could do it in the style how they are doing it for the Horus Heresy series of tabletop books with the army gaining/changing rules based on the legion, and gaining unique units and wargear specific to them.

I just honestly dislike having one major faction (Space Marines) getting all the codex while others languish (Such as the poor Xenos, or Sisters of Battle), I may enjoy my Dark Angels, but I'd prefer one book for them all, or begin to spread out each and every army into clans/craftworlds/legions.
