I run an assault based Black Templar army with large squads including chaplains and cenobytes.
Normally I run (in large games) 3 x 20 man squads, 2 with chaplains and cenobytes and 1 with the EC.
The Righteous Zeal move in the chaplain squads is D6(with a re-roll) + 3 (for cenobytes), this is a fantastic tool that no other army has and with the chaplain can be used to Zeal toward ANY enemy not just the closest. I have used this tactic to great effect to avoid the charge from a jump-shoot-charge army (including the vaunted Blood angel assault units).
Add in the Vows of Accept any challenge or suffer not the unclean and you can tailor your Templar assaultiness to meet your needs, or rather to meet the needs of the enemy you are facing. Also if you want to run some assault terminators with their veteran skills and vows they are extremely effective.
I have lost only once in 6th and have taken on all comers excluding Tau and Necrons.
The key thing Ive found in 6th is more tactics, more flank moves to split your opponents forces, and better model placement for wound allocation.
