I think I can. Okay my Wife thinks I can. I started to realize I have so many models and I never play any games with them. Right now I have 5k of GK's, 4K of WoC, 2k of Eldar, 50 Points of Trollbloods and enough bits to last a lifetime.

It is so many models that most are sitting in a box in a closet. I have finally started pulling them out to list them for sale. I also think a lot of it has to do with my age and enviorment. (Wife is a clean freak and models laying around even in my mancave is a no go)

I am recently married and Warhammer/Hordes just is not as fun as it used to be, that being said I dropped a lot of money on Kingdom Death and feel that even if I never play the models are of such high quality I can proudly display them.

Can you have too many models? Simple answer? ...NO!

If I ran out of models to build or paint I would get bored :\

But who runs out of models to build or paint, unless you're really disciplined?

When you look at all the models you have to paint, and fall into the fetal position crying, then its to much.

If that's the measure: then I have too many models.

Apparently I also have too many dishes to wash, too many clothes to put away, too many bills to pay, and too many days I'm supposed to work.

Pedantically, if the amount of models you own have an active, negative impact on your life, then yes, you have too many models.

If not, buy more!

Probably work

I have too many models. My backlog is well over $200, though it's rapidly diminishing, and I have an easy 3000 points of GK, probably close to 10000 of IG (including Apoc stuff), a token GH squad and rune priest, a simply unknowable amount of Nids (mostly 4th edition stuff), and a good 1500 points of SM assembled, with still more in a box.

On the bright side, I almost never need to buy anything any more, barring perhaps another squad or two of Strikes.

If painting and collecting is something you enjoy then no, you can never have to much.

Can you ever have too many models?

No.

Models are like MTG Cards, fishing rods and sex. An infinite feedback loop of hard work, thought and effort for a few moments of pleasure that costs you your house and possibly your sanity.
